Staff were excellent. They really thought about the small stuff, which made all the difference. Complimentary cheese and wine at 5pm, hot tub overlooking the remarkable mountain range, complimentary beverages and lollies. Unreal.

Loved the old fashion quaintness of the 5pm happy hour - where all guests could come together and mingle. Something different and lovely. Would have liked more than 1 chair in our room. Nowhere really to sit but on the bed. (Possibly my fault for not checking what room I had booked). WIll definitely be back and book a bigger room. Loved the location and the atmosphere.

Lovely Boutique
Had a great stay at The Dairy. Lots of surprises, like the local milk provided in the room fridge and a candy bar in the lounge (I strongly recommend the marshmallow fish). The breakfast room had great views of the mountains. Great location for walking around the city, too.

This boutique hotel is fabulous. It is in central Queenstown - close to everything by foot. The room was just gorgeous- beautifully decorated. The Happy Hour in the lounge area was terrific- a great way to relax and meet fellow travellers.

Property is well situated up the hill from downtown Queenstown. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We met several interesting fellow travelers at wine time. It was fabulous place to land and recharge after touring from north to south.

Dairy products shine at Dairy Private
Lovely place to stay. No frills, minimum service for an expensive room. Nice treats, coffee, tea in the room. The continental breakfast offers nothing special except for outstanding milk and yogurt. The staff of one was pleasant and friendly.

The Dairy hotel was excellent! We stayed one night before a 3-day hiking excursion out of Queenstown and two nights after our hiking trip. The hotel stored our luggage while we were on the hike, and our bags as well as a complimentary bottle of wine were waiting for us in our room when we returned. The staff and amenities are the best. The location is perfect for getting around the main part of the city.

This little oasis was close to the city center, but far enough away to be peaceful. So much to do within walking distance!!! The staff was helpful and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
