Lovely property, amazing view, well set up. Major roadworks at bottom of the hill made walk into centre Queenstown bit longer than expected but not too bad.

Fantastic property in great location

Really enjoyed staying at this stylish townhome and walking to everything! Very spacious when considering staying at either a hotel or townhome. Open floorplan with great outdoor space and lots of windows that capitalize on the incredible village and mountain views. Highly recommend.

Superb house for a family reunion

The Hadden's is in a fabulous location so close to town with wonderful views. The house layout works really well for different age groups and we even managed with a 15 month old as well. The facilities are all very good and the hot tub was a surprise hit too! The deck area is perfect for family drinks & dinners. We had a wonderful family reunion here in Queenstown and would definitely book this property again.

A terrible response from management

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at the haddens for 6 days this July with a group of friends. It was a beautiful house, and initially I thought it was worth the expensive price. Two days after checking out I received an email that we were being charged $366 from our bond because a key was missing. I had received no phone call or email notifying me of this, or explaining the charge. After persistently attempting to contact Glen Rolle, the general manager, I was finally told that the key supposedly missing was for the sliding doors to access the balcony. I informed Glen that we were never given a key for those sliding doors, instead we had a key for the other door which also accessed the balcony (as it was a dual key, confirmed by Glen). Upon checkout I took a photo of the entire top level, as I had heard other guests had problems with excessive fees from good stays. When I spoke with Glen and told him I had a photo of this key, he told me that I was lying and that it was my mistake. He yelled at me, interrupted me, and ultimately said 'I'm over this', and hung up the phone. We have been charged the full amount for this, have received no apology, and are very disappointed.

Queenstown experience

Overall the accommodation was adequate, a bit tired and old : the bathroom had cracks and mould, the tap to change from bath to shower didn’t work But in the end we booked this property for the hot tub and that didn’t disappoint…that was amazing Overall we think the property just needs an upgrade

Good stay in convenient location

Stayed here with my wife and brother in law during a visit to Queenstown. Great location, and host was responsive. Check-in & check-out was seamless and easy. Pictures do make the house look more modern than it is - some parts do seem newer than others, but overall it was good quality. FYI garage has difficulty fitting an SUV (VW Tiguan) but there is plenty of space in the driveway to park. Would recommend for anyone with a large group staying in Queenstown.

Beautiful Property with Great View

This house was exactly what we expected. Beautiful landscaping, home, and view. There were very detailed instructions for check in and use of all amenities. The kitchen was well equipped and the home is quite spacious. The couches are very comfortable. The property is on a hill so if you plan to walk into town know that you'll be walking up very steep hills. If we had one complaint it's that they require you to not use the patio after 9PM, which seems a bit ridiculous considering the noise from town is audible from the patio and can be heard well into the night. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Good location

The Hadden’s is in a good location & has lovely views. It’s a bit tired though & given the price it needs extra touches like some nice shampoos, conditioners & body lotions in the bathrooms. An information folder with recommendations for restaurants etc., would be nice. It’s just didn’t feel very homely. We had a great time in Queenstown as always, but would be looking for a different property next time.

Poor Management

Unfortunately the stay was tarnished by poor management of the property. They handled themselves in an unprofessional manner and were quite rude regarding the management of the spa. The property itself was nice, it was in a good area. The roadworks made the walking trip that little bit longer.

2nd Time Stay

Our 2nd stay at this perfect location finished off our NZ Queenstown stay at the end of our South Island trip nicely, easy walk down to catch the ski bus and waterfront and restaurants. We loved the property, and would definitely stay here again in furture NZ trips.

The location is 2 blocks from the heart of town but a very steep climb. The house and gardens were spectacular with all the mod cons. Our family loved our Christmas stay here
