Awesome Family Fun

This modern Log House was beautiful and would recommend it to all travelers, excellent facilities and within walking distance to all Glenorchy activities. Glenorchy is a beautiful place with a lot of outdoor activities to partake in.

This house is amazing. A beautiful log house that caters for all ages. A great view of the snow capped mountains. The underfloor heating kept the temp of the house spot in.

This home was stunning and the service fantastic. I left some personal belongings, which were returned to our home address before our holiday was over! Would return here in a heartbeat, Fabulous.

Cleanliness was lovely, house was totally warm and welcoming on arrival and remained so during our stay. As advertised it is unique home and being able to read about the history of the building was a bonus. Easy drive to the absolutely stunning country side in the area. Something to be seen and experienced. My negitive comments may seem a little petty, but there were some things we missed...one towel each for 4 nights stay, pillows rather tired and flat, non matching pillow cases and bedroom linen, no mirrors in bedrooms...(and also no pepper, lol) ...as said, does seem a little petty, but these small extras would have made stay totally 5 star, and we would all still recommend this as a great place to stay and enjoy this wonderful area of NZ

Foot long lawns !!

The property was clean and tidy but very bare. Uncut lawns, basic TV entertainment, very few cooking utensils. Very poor for the cost. The list goes on.... We would not book again. What property manager ??

Good house

Unfortunately my husband and I got sick on the third day of our trip. It's never good being sick away from home. The amenities at the house were good but I would have loved a microwave. I chose to use the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Having to step into a low bath to shower was a bit hazardous at my age. I am 76.

What a fantastic project your home is! Thoroughly enjoyed the album about the build. The night sky views were stunning both inside and out, and the home was comfortable, spacious and welcoming.Loved it, and already planning to battle the Queenstown traffic again next year for a revisit.

Log house retreat for 90th birthday party with family

This was a perfect place to have my fathers 90th birthday with family. The Log house was very spacious for additional visiting family members, very warm and clean with a great outdoor area for the great grandchildren to play. The only negative part of our stay was that one of the bottom bedrooms double bed was not suitable for two people to sleep in and would benefit greatly with a mattress upgrade.

Overall great experience, this is brilliant for large family or groups. Plenty of space for kids to run around, well stocked with essentials
