Wonderful home set in the jungle at the end of the road. A bit of walk to get to the main road and the beach. We ended up taking taxis or booking shuttles with David (property concierge) who is wonderful!
I hope I spell our wonderful maids name correctly, Sayra, she did a fabulous job. Managing 4 bedrooms, all our laundry and always with a smile!
We were entertained by monkeys a few times. Some were very bold and tried to get inside! Swiped a banana off the table in the middle of the day, before my brother could get him/her out. . .then the Capuchin monkey stayed on the outside railing and actually yelled at him LOL They are adorable but sneaky.
Just a heads up for some people . . . the house has multiple stairs. Easy to navigate, nice and wide.
We enjoyed the service of Chef Marco, seven great dinners. Be prepared to eat a lot!
The only downside that I can think of is the ice make is broken, and we needed our ice for afternoon cocktails! But, we were able to get ice from the store at the end of the road. Plus, for us over packers not enough hangers in the closets. . . and no dressers in the bedrooms to store your items.
Make sure you try the restaurant by the grocery store. . . very tasty and super nice.
We all had a wonderful time and couldn't ask for a nicer place, great concierges and fabulous chef and house staff.
