We had dinner there and it was wonderful reasonable prices. We happened to have live music. They sang to our family at our table. Clean room minus spiders. Normal for mountains. Saw Scarlett Macaws, squirrels ocean view, sunset, and sunrise. Wonderful staff and close to Manuel Antiono national park. Highly recommend.

Proche de manuel antonio, environ 40 minute a pied. Ne pas sattendre au luxe, jai du mettre du papier de toilettes pour boucher les trous de la porte,honnêtement on a fait le tour des hotels proches et cest pomal du pareille au même. C'est tres humide donc oui l'odeur nest pas super agreable mais avec l'air conditionné cest moin pire. Tres satisfaite malgré tout.

Der erste Eindruck des Hotels war leider sehr enttäuschend. Die gesamte Anlage wirkt stark veraltet und heruntergekommen - es scheint, als seien seit Jahrzehnten keine Renovierungsarbeiten mehr durchgeführt worden. Wir haben leider kein Zimmer in den oberen Etagen mit Meerblick erhalten, welche größer und lichtdurchfluteter gewesen wären. Das erste zugewiesene Zimmer roch zudem stark modrig. Es wurde offensichtlich versucht, den Geruch durch den intensiven Einsatz von Reinigungsmitteln (u. a. Chlor) zu überdecken, jedoch blieb der unangenehme Geruch weiterhin sehr präsent. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt ist die nahegelegene Hauptstraße, die für erheblichen Lärm sorgt. An Entspannung im Zimmer oder erholsamen Schlaf war kaum zu denken - wir mussten sogar mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen. Zudem gab es ausschließlich kaltes Wasser in der Dusche. Auch wenn bei warmen Temperaturen kein heißes Wasser zwingend notwendig ist, sollte eine warme Dusche am Abend dennoch selbstverständlich sein und warmes Wasser zum Standard gehören. Besonders enttäuschend war der Pool: Auf den Bildern wirkt er einladend und ideal zur Abkühlung, tatsächlich war er jedoch schlecht oder gar nicht gewartet. Das Wasser war trüb und verschmutzt, dass man den Boden nicht mehr erkennen konnte - eine Nutzung war daher nicht möglich. Hier stimmt die Preis/Leistung jedenfalls nicht.

We recently stayed at Hotel La Colina and unfortunately our experience did not meet expectations First, the AC was leaking water excessively when we arrived. To their credit, they did fix it, but that was only one of many issues. We had no hot water for 4 out of the 5 nights. We were told the water tank was empty and we needed to let the water run, yet the issue was never resolved during our stay. The room itself was very small, outdated, and not very clean. The towels, sheets, and pillowcases were stained, which made the whole place feel unhygienic. There was a visible crack in the door frame, making it easy for insects to enter. We saw multiple insects inside the room, including a cockroach and large ants. The walls are extremely thin, you can hear absolutely everything from neighboring rooms, the street traffic, and the dog barking loudly throughout the night. The hotel is very close to the main road, which makes it even noisier. It’s about a 5-6 minute drive to the beach, but it’s not realistically walkable since there’s no sidewalk and the road feels unsafe due to traffic. Plus, the bed was VERY uncomfortable, you can clearly feel the springs through the mattress. Overall, while we managed to make the best of our trip, the condition of the room and the repeated issues made the experience frustrating. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others.

Expérience inacceptable. L’accès à l’hôtel implique plus de 80 marches, ce qui rend l’établissement objectivement difficile d’accès, sans que cette contrainte soit clairement mise en évidence lors de la réservation. Durant la nuit, des bruits d’animaux sur le toit ont causé un réel sentiment d’insécurité. La présence d’un animal dans la chambre est particulièrement préoccupante et remet en question les standards d’hygiène et d’entretien. La literie était également inconfortable. Globalement, l’établissement ne répond pas aux standards minimaux attendus en matière de sécurité, d’accessibilité et de confort.

It could be better in my experience… the room and bathroom was decent clean but the pool and outdoor area were not clean enough on my opinion. One of the owner Nathacha was very friendly and sweet lady. The restaurant was very good and variety of dishes but the pizza 🍕 Cooked in the mud oven was delicious.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.We enjoyed the restaurant -the pizza and the atmosphere were great and the service was excellent.There are a lot of stairs to go up to your room, which we did not mind , but if you have any mobility issues I would recommend to book a room at a lower level.The rooms were not as clean as we expected and the plumbing could use some updating in the bathroom.The location was perfect-super close to the beach, top notch restaurants and the national park.

The price for the stay was reasonable and the view was incredible from our room. However we did not realize there were an insane amount of stairs throughout the property and to get to our room was had to climb more than 80 steps. Be aware that this property is in the middle of jungle area so you may see animals from the balcony or even on the property! But with that also comes the potential for bugs ( some scarier than others). Rooms were decently clean but facilities a bit run down, we were not able to enjoy the pool. Due to the recent rain it had become a bit green. The restaurant was FANTASTIC we ate there for dinner once and breakfast once during our stay. Anastasia on the morning team was very sweet to speak with and took pictures of us.

The property is fantastic, so is the staff, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant on the property is incredible I recommend the pizza and the ravioli. It's quiet and easy to get to the National park or the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Colina. Natasha is doing a great job with her business and is so easy to communicate with. The food is delicious and it was close to everything. The only downside is the slippery high ascending stairs. Your legs and arms get a workout from carrying luggage and/or a baby. Would come back again and will continue to sing their praises.
