"The room itself was clean, staff were pleasant. There is lots of parking space. The kitchen looked complete. The glass lids to the pots were filthy, which put me ‘off’! Actually we were only there one night, and hadn’t planned to cook. However did want the use of a pot, so wiped it out, just in case it wasn’t cleaned either! Chose not to use a lid, and told cafe staff about the filth in the morning. Had two ‘bar stools’ at the counter (only chairs in this ‘mini suite’, and 3 out of 4 of the ‘rubbers’ on the legs had been removed! We didn’t want to scratch the floor, so folded up ‘info flyers’ and put under the legs, so as not to scratch the floor!"

"Lovely peaceful night sleep. Comfy bed. Clean and spacious room. There was a kettle to make tea which was great and a fridge and microwave. We loved the character, beautiful wood carvings and chairs in the lobby. We walked around the lake which was beautiful"

"Interesting location, in the middle of the fruit orchards. Back door of the property is right opposite of the first row of the apple lines. The hosts were very cooperative and generous with the fruit. There are a few minor problems in the bathroom - 1) the cabinet on the wall is wobbly - we were afraid that we might knock it down; 2) there is not a single rack for hanging the towels; 3) the location of the light switch is rather illogical, way back in the bathroom, one has to be careful not to trip and fall before reaching the switch. The communication with VRBO is awkward and rather complicated."

"We are having an absolute amazing time staying at the Eagles Nest Retreat! We stayed in Eagle Nest 1. The accommodation itself is beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable, but the wellness amenities truly set this place apart. We have spent hours rotating between the relaxing private hot tub and the exhilarating cold plunge and a bonus with the shared rejuvenating sauna. It has been the perfect, relaxing getaway. If you are looking for a private retreat to unwind and reset and close enough to run into town for a bite, this is absolutely the place to book. We cannot recommend it enough!"
