There was a ease of pick up and check in that started the trip well, including Steven meeting us at the airport. The apartment was clean and met all of our needs - although we were only two, we rented a larger 2-bedroom apt that allowed us to spread out. Estuban, our host, was great with the working of the apartment and location of resources. The neighborhood was transitional - at night there was a urban experience that included street noise and people living their lives. (My wife wore ear plugs but I did not, as it did not bother me.) This was a minor issue compared to the wonderful morning experience fresh bakeries and small specialty stores. We would definitely stay here again!

Looks ok fron the outside. The interior is not good. After check-in I immediately contactwd Expedia to lodge my complaint and to receive assistance to find another property.

Imbabura (by translation one of Ecuador’s highest volcanoes) is a charming and beautiful apartment located on the 3rd floor of beautiful Casa LunaLoma, a 100-year-old restored colonial house. Imbabura is a spacious traditional apartment with modern amenities, has a complete kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, and a beautiful view of El Panecillo, 2 bedrooms, and 2 baths. It also has a private lookout balcony with a beautiful view to El Panecillo. There is very reliable optic cable internet which allowed me to work for 3 weeks continuously with excellent WiFi access throughout the house. Communication with the host and Esteban was very effective during the 3 weeks period, as well as during pre-arrival, check-in, follow-up, check-out, etc. We have used the recommended and reliable taxi pick up, drop off service and also sightseeing during the weekends. We visited Mindo, the chocolate factory, Mitad del Mundo, Otavalo, waterfalls and other beautiful places. Patricio went above and beyond during our stay, he was our tour guide, driver, close friend, helped us with shipping a package internationally, also checked on me and my family during my stay. There are no words to express my gratitude! I highly recommend staying at Casa LunaLoma, I'm looking forward to returning to Ecuador and staying at Casa LunaLoma again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
