Lovely inn

A great old inn with lots of character. Really good, comfortable large room. Comfortable bed. Very efficient check in. Excellent restaurant, can highly recommend the fixed price menu.

Was only there for one night in october 2024. It's a nice country hotel...with a motorcycle museum next door... Restaurant was very cosy and the food was excellent.

Property whilst on the road was in a quiet location. Rooms had fun rickity stairs to loft for additional beds - no handrails. No lifts to rooms ( important if not particularly mobile). We booked dinner but didn’t get to eat for 1hr30, mixed reviews on food- my vegetarian was delicious, my daughters fish & chips was cold on the inside. The staff were lovely and it was a good price. Breakfast was better than I expected for Continental. Bed was firm but I slept well.

Very comfortable room

We enjoyed our two-night stay in a comfortable room with windows that could be opened wide and a ceiling fan. Small things that become very important hot nights during summer!

Very nice outside dining, meeting/drinking area when the evenings weather allowed. We had 3 beautiful evenings outside to unwind after day out exploring. Great central Holland location to venture out from by car. Train was a little far for our group to walk so we just parked Car at station. Liked the room layout. Had both the 4 bed and 6 bed. NO fridge but that seems common in Europe.

Met het gezin (kind van 7 en kind van 8) was ons verblijf van 2 nachten in de avond een behoorlijke uitdaging. Als je goed tegen het veelvuldig langsrijdend verkeer (zoals hevig optrekkende motoren & auto’s en vrachtauto’s) en gillende kinderen kunt, dan kun je hier prima overnachten. Het is een familiehotel, dus enige reuring wat dat betreft is te verwachten en begrijpelijk, echter hadden wij niet verwacht dat álle geluiden zo enorm hard hoorbaar zouden zijn. Ook gesprekken van mensen buiten waren vanuit onze kamer goed te volgen. De muren lijken van karton en absoluut niet goed geïsoleerd. Het personeel is vriendelijk, de kamers zijn netjes en het ontbijtbuffet is prima. Het is dus geen slecht hotel, maar vooral een heel luid hotel. Als je behoefte hebt aan een rustig verblijf, is dit hotel geen aanrader.
