The communication with the host when booking was very good. Unfortunately when we arrived, the property was not like the pictures. When I saw the previous 2 star review posted here I was very concerned. I contacted the host but was reassured there was nothing to worry about. She suggested I should cancel if I was worried. I didn't because of her reassurance. As I was flying out the next day, I wouldn't be able to find another accommodation on such short notice. Also, because of the cancellation policy on this platform, I would lose 50% and I had paid the full cost up front already.The accommodation is old which in itself was not an issue. However, it was not clean. There was a lot of dust everywhere. The floors were dirty, the flooring is damaged and uneven especially in the dining area - trip hazard, there were ants in the bedroom I stayed as well as in the kitchen cupboards. The bed sheets had not been changed. There were hairs all over the sheets in all 3 bedrooms. They were not our hairs! Make up stains on the pillowcases. In the bathrooms there was mould in the silicone/caulking around both shower units, cracked tiles in the shower. One of the showers was blocked and the water was not draining. We contacted the host, she said she would send somebody to check but didn't. Didn't respond when we told her the times we would be available to let someone in. Kitchen had limited utensils, microwave didn't work properly, AC constantly leaking in one bedroom. Not recommended.
