Ban Laem

“Good for a one night stay while traveling but there were some serious limitations for a long term stay. First: limited in room amenties such as towels and no coffee or hot water Second: the towels were almost unusable because of age and there were only two bath towels and no others. Lastly: although the listing indicates a restaurant, there is none available. I tried to confirm this via a phone call before I checked in but the staff did not answer. I was able to use Grab but it was very……

“The maid can be rude. She sprayed copious amounts of disinfectant spray in my room, but not other rooms. It made me feel discrimination and seemed to imply that foreign people stink. I was having plumbing trouble at home so I rented a room for a week so I would have a place to shower. So it's not like I had stinky dirty clothes or durian in the room. I would come in the morning and shower then leave again. That particular day I had additional appointment so I returned to the room to take an……

"Some of the room's facilities were old, and the bathroom was rather inconvenient to use. There was no gift shop nearby, and it cost 300 baht to go to a 7-Eleven for a round trip."

"This was an excellent place to stay. We had a well maintained villa all to ourselves. Everything was provided, even an excellent coffee machine! The pool was lovely, just peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was served in the villa although the latest you could have was 9am which was a bit early for holidays. You need your own transport but it’s only a short drive to Cha-am and some lovely seafood beach restaurants. We loved staying here as a family."
