The lodges were perfect for anyone wanting an authentic experience where the rain forest meets the sea- lots of wildlife to see and hear. We called the day before check in and was told that the property was under renovations. Full payment was already made. We are awaiting a refund. We gave spoken to persons at Expedia who indicated that the host has to cancel the reservation first. We are still awaiting feedback and a full refund. ...

The owner refused to present himself to open the house despite we talk at the phone. He simply said he cannot. I was unable to stay there. I had to go around Trinidad in the night to find another stay.
