"What an incredible experience it was to stay here!!! Definitely high-end accommodations for a treehouse. Michael was a pleasure to work with, was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we got there late. We loved being in the trees and so close to so much wild life. "Beautiful house steps away from pristine and unoccupied beaches, jungle path that goes on for miles teaming with monkeys and birds. This is remote. No true restaurants nearby, but the tent camp serves a delicious evening meal with a full bar and is about a 10 minute walk. Town is a 60-90 minute hike and has several restaurants and a very small grocery. The owners of this house are delightful, helpful, and provided excellent orientation to living openly in the jungle. The house was perfectly situated, lots of space, and an amazing covered deck area with an afternoon breeze. Everything went very smoothly from first communications through to check-out. "We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri. The house has simple but impressive amenities for how remote the area is. The drive to get there is an adventure in itself but you could not be closer to the park once you arrive! "This is such a cool place. Great AC and WiFi. The private trails around the property are incredible and back up to a river. Feels very secure. We found kinkajous, squirrel monkeys, coatis, snakes, frogs all around the property. Absolutely must stay here if you like exploring nature on your own, especially at night."

"This house had such amazing wildlife viewing we hardly ever left. that combined with the lovely pool, scenic walks and open air showers. We saw squirrel monkeys, toucans, macaws, capuchins all from our balcony and walks around the house we found kinkajou and tyra along with a host of other species. Finding the property the first time was a challenge. You definitely need to take the sharp left at the top of the third hill. Don’t go straight down the third and steepest decline!
