Our comments from the previous review still applies, but in short - prepare for an old draughty house on the river side. Bring sleeping bags if you are sensitive to the cold. We set our expectations accordingly, and had a wonderful stay. All team members were very satisfied with the accommodation and would book again. “We loved staying here with a deck looking out to the sea.Comfortable beds and all the comforts of home with local wildlife as an added attraction. Will miss the little wallabies that greeted us when we arrived.The driveway was a bit of a challenge for our hire car, but everything else was fantastic.”

“Outstanding private property, secluded with gorgeous northerly outlook to the water. Extremely roomy, great size bedrooms with comfortable bedding and a terrific lounge/dining/kitchen space, perfect for social get togethers. Nothing beats a great indoor fire in the chill winter months, except for the outdoor fire glowing in the background in great view from the spa. An awesome stay, thank you! ”

“The location of the house is excellent as you can easily do day trips to the north and south of the Island and to Adventure Bay. It is a few minutes walk to Hotel Bruny which has fantastic meals. The house has a wonderful view looking back to the mainland and of Satellite Island with a deck at the front and back of the house which is perfect to avoid the wind depending on the direction. Both decks have outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings very comfortable.……
