Perfect vacation nestled in the Etna vineyards

We had a wonderful 4 week vacation in this beautiful villa - perfect for our family of 9. We had regular visits from the caretaker Franco who assisted with minor questions and brought fresh linen. The outdoor area with grill and large table is perfect for large groups and the 2nd kitchen in the adjacent villa convenient for preparing meals. The heated pool was really appreciated especially in cooler October mornings where the water was always warm. We visited several of the local vineyards, Bronte - the pistachio capital, Taormina for shopping and opera, Naxos for the beaches and of course the majestic Etna. A big thank you to the owner who paid a short visit during the grape harvest and provided us a private tour of the first floor (and a couple of bottle's of his wine) where wine was made by his ancestors over 100 years ago. Sicilian hospitality at its best !
