「Had we known this property was going through a remodel of some kind we never would’ve stayed. Staff really wasn’t friendly… breakfast wasn’t that good. No batter for the waffle maker… breakfast sausage definitely recooked/ overcooked. In comparison to the AmericInn we stayed at in Manitowoc last month which was a strong 9, this was a 4 and that’s being generous. 「Very comfortable room and nice hotel . My only complaint is about Expedia! It’s impossible to have a live conversation if you have to make an adjustment to the reservation. The only option is a AI chatbot or a Chat with an agent after working your way through the Chatbot . Better to book directly with Holiday Inn Express. Even then, I couldn’t talk directly to the Hotel and could only talk to the corporate customer service representatives. But at least I could have a real conversation with them.」
