The Garage was my absolute favorite hotel that we stayed in. The Family that owns the farm were wonderful and even baked us cakes. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring them. They also had little booklets in the rooms that told us other places to check out. Loved it!

The whole atmosphere was like staying at close relative's home. The warm detail touches in the room, the welcoming brownies and cake for guests, the obvious thought put into everything for the best guest experience, etc. We wished we could have stayed many more nights.

This property was incredible and I wish we had booked more than one night here on our trip. We would have liked having one day to just slow down and enjoy the scenery and the calm atmosphere that is The Garage. Anna had fresh baked cookies for us as we arrived and it was just the most wonderful experience. The weather was wicked windy and Anna told us that we could stay until the break in the weather so we wouldn’t have to be out driving in unsafe conditions. 10/10 recommend and if/when I come back to Iceland, I WILL be staying here and for at least two nights!

We had a fabulous stay and didn’t want to leave! Loved every stylish and comfortable detail, including the generous gift of fresh lettuce and homemade cookies. Highly revommend!
This hotel is located in a beautiful location on the south coast, at the base of a waterfall AND in front of the ocean. You are greeted with baked goods and the Owner's two dogs. Such a unique little gem. It's the perfect stop between Reykjavík and Vik, and a great spot to see the Northern Lights. The rooms are very raw and basic, but the perfect vibe.

Anna and Siggi’s place was absolutely lovely! Anna was very helpful and had fresh bread in the check in area when we arrived. Our little suite was perfect for my husband, daughter and I. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. My daughter loved the dogs and being so close to the ponies. We definitely recommend the Garage if you’re traveling to southern Iceland and want a cozy place to stay with an beautiful view of the water and mountains!
