Great property, nice host. Bathroom was too small, and the exhaust fan was very loud. Room was comfortable and clean. TV has one of those bizarre cable services that require you to learn what all of the buttons do on their remote, just to watch network TV. Prairie dogs were fun to watch, just off the driveway area. We would stay there, again, but only in a cabin, like we had.

The room was adequate and clean. However, the bolt lock did not work, the chain lock was broken and hanging, there were no glasses in the room for brushing teeth, etc.. I would have asked for a change of room, but we arrived shortly after 8 PM and did not see anyone around.

I enjoyed staying here very much. I was only passing through and stayed one night, but if I could afford it, it would be a nice place to stay longer. The rates are very reasonable, but I am quite poor. The room was so comfortable. There is a kitchen area with coffee and ice, and I appreciated the availability of microwave popcorn. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The staff was also kind and helpful.

When we travel, we go for hotels but on this occasion we wanted to try “a cabin”. We loved it. It was tiny but it worked. It was well appointed and comfortable.

I stayed at Moosehead Lodge with my family, and we all absolutely loved it. The property was clean, cozy, and had a really welcoming vibe. The rooms had that rustic charm we were looking for, and everything was well-maintained. One of the highlights was definitely speaking with the lodge keeper, an amazing person who made us feel right at home. They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable.

The staff was friendly and were presentable. We stayed in the lodge. The property and facilities was rundown. The bedding was old and they must have a shortage of pillows. Only one pillow per guest and the pillows were flat. No entertainment. No complimentary breakfast although they did have a microwave and coffee. It really needs to be upgraded. No critters so thats a plus.

Somehow, we got the smallest room possible, and there was virtually no one there. And it was too much effort to try and move to a larger room so that was fine. The staff was great attentive. The lodge was very clean. I wouldn’t recommend using Expedia, but calling them directly to book that way you get what you want The air conditioner was funky and didn’t work very well first it was on low cool and then only on fan. It might need to be replaced. What’s important is that it’s clean very clean housekeeping does a wonderful job. .

This property listing needs to be more clear. There is a lodge and there are cabins. Needs clarification on what you get when you reserve. The whole reason I went to this property was the cabins and I was put in the lodge which was a very small room in an old house. Really wasn't happy with amenities and as I'd stayed in the cabins before I really liked those, The Lodge is very dated. So I do not feel like I got what I was paying for.
