Family friendly, exactly as pictures, if not, better! Would recommend Eddies place and stay again. The only con is that it’s not in the best location, but if you hire a car it’s not a problem.

Perfect location

Awesome spot for a family stay. Close enough to head to town most mornings and then head down to the lagoon on the other side in the afternoons. Private gardens, nice and quiet location. Perfect place for kids.

We loved our stay at Tiare Taporo. It was nice and clean. Fabulous wee cafe 2 doors down. Super Brown within a km walk. Beautiful garden. The only downside was proximity to the beach but as we had a rental car this didn't worry us. Eddie was a friendly host who quickly responded to all questions.

Vaka EIva 10 day trip

Great possy for those doing Vaka Eiva, just along the road for where we would launch and paddle from, close to Muri and all the events for tourists, like marker nights etc. Perfect for us, 52 year old paddler, with 17 year old daughter and 18 year old best mate. Malo T
