"No elevators. Coffee maker in room was inoperative. Desk clerk and restaurant staff had conflicting statements about operating bar and restaurant hours. After 8:30 we could not get anything to eat in house. No shop to purchase incidentals."

"This hotel has everything: a bar, in house dining, and Starbucks. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bartender was great! Friendly, helpful, and just fun to be around. Hotel was centrally located to why we stayed there, easy access to highway for Sequoia National Park / Kings Canyon and airport. We didn't explore much in the area immediately around the hotel, we didn't feel comfortable nor did we see much to do. Parking seemed secure with security present. The only negative I have is room cleanliness. Bed was clean but high touch areas were not (doors needed wiped down, light switches, stools for propping feet). I moved the shower curtain back and there was about 6 make up remover pads???? That were black sitting on the tub edge. I didn't not feel very confident in the room cleanliness."

"The front office staff were helpful and courteous, but the facility is in disrepair and ill-repair. The elevator was not working, the central courtyard was likely beautiful in years gone by, but is now overgrown. The pool is drained. The room was dirty with a previous occupants dried food on the table, the phone was dirty, there was hair in the tub. The shower curtain did not come down to the tub side so water drenched the floor during a shower. The bathroom floor was dirty. There were homeless people walking around the premises. It appeared there were families and individuals perhaps paying a discounted weekly rate who may be intermittently homeless. There are several parking spots dedicated to Fresno Police giving the impression that they are called frequently. After one night we found a different hotel."

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Edgewater Inn. Not only did we encounter bugs in our room during our stay, but the problems continued even after we checked out. After leaving the hotel, we began noticing unexpected charges being added to our account with little to no explanation. When we contacted the front desk for clarification, the staff member (Esther) we spoke with was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. To make matters worse, we were accused of violating hotel policies, which was completely untrue. Despite our attempts to address the situation, we felt unfairly blamed and were not treated with respect. Instead we were told “Just dispute the charges”. Between the bugs in the room, unexplained charges, false accusations, and poor customer service, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I expected a clean room and professional treatment, but unfortunately, Edgewater Inn failed to provide either. I would not recommend staying here and would encourage future guests to carefully inspect their rooms and review their bills after checkout."
