“We stayed in the main unit, a lovely and cozy cabin. The manager left notes about the weather and instructions on using everything in the cabin. The place had everything one could dream of, for a cabin in the woods. It was very comfortable and quiet, and we immensely enjoyed our stay. We originally booked one of the small units. The weather was not good. It was snowing a lot, and the manager was very considerate and changed us to the main unit. We are very grateful for this change. ”

“Truly remote cabin—full kitchen and bath. Very cute and cozy but with modern amenities. Large deck and grill and two functioning fireplaces. Free parking and a delicious very local restaurant-bar across the street. The place is movie scene perfect for a hallmark Christmas. The down sides being if you are tall the bathtub will require you to bend down if taller than 5’10”. While I fully expect rustic there were a lot of easy to dust cobwebs. Be very aware there is approximately 1 place to eat and……

“I liked that the people there running it was really nice! Is a nice getaway for a short stay! What I didn't like about my stay is when they gave my room that I reserved for a reason to someone else all because they didn't want to sleep in the same bed! I reserved 2 queen beds for a reason! I had 3 people in my group and there so called upgrade for me was a bed and a couch and said they would bring us some wine for staying in that upgraded room but never brought it! Then the next day had to move……

“Loved how spacious living/dining room were and the large table was great. Host was very responsive, home was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels. It was a huge bonus that we were able to use the garage, which had the washer and dryer.”

“We enjoyed our stay, the location was great not too far from the freeway but far enough away you were not in the “city”. The owners were very accommodating to us. They even had toys for my three year old to play with outside. The outdoor playground was great. The trailer was well kept, and ready for us when we arrived. It had a large cover on top to help it when it was sunny. We were happy to find this gem for our 4 night stay. I would book with them again if I return to this area.”

“We absolutely loved it there. it has wonderful view during sunrise from the hills and cute backyard for my pup to run and play. Property is maintained well even though its a Mobile home. Well equipped kitchen. Great location. calm and peaceful. Be mindful of neighbours though, there was one guy who was not happy with us walking around as he thought we were intentionally there to disturb his dogs and horses.”

“We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. Todd has decorated all the rooms very nicely. I would totally stay here again. Todd was very easy to contact and very enjoyable to talk to. If we ever have to have something done on our house again that we have to leave for a few days I would love to stay in this little apartment again. It did have a swimming pool, but we did not use it. Maybe next time.”

We were celebrating our anniversary and we both agreed that this was our favorite trip we've taken yet, and we take one every year :) Meredith and Jacob are amazing hosts, so friendly, kind, and responsive! “Cute little home. Great for a getaway to enjoy the nearby parks. I LOVED the screened porch!”

“Spacious. Plenty of amenities however the two full size beds need mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Luggage racks in bedrooms would be very helpful rather than having to put everything on the floor. Refrigerator is very old and makes loud random banging noises. Carpet in bedrooms needs cleaning.”

“We loved our time at the Knotty Cabin. I stayed with my husband and family who were visiting from Ireland. We loved the location in the park with lots of great hiking and running trails right on our doorstep. The cabin was cosy and had everything we needed and more. The only thing we wish we had known before we got up to King’s Canyon was that the grocery store up there is very limited. If you plan on cooking, which you likely will as there is only 1 restaurant option nearby, stop in Fresno on……

“The apartment is a little small (about 600 sqft) and old. However, everything just worked as expected! The owner put a lot of effort to make it a cozy place just like your own home. We totally enjoyed our short stay and will definitely come back in the future!”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub didn't look as though they were maintained regularly, so we didn't use them. Many of the rooms are non-smoking, but there is a table with an ashtray just outside where people were smoking close to the non-smoking rooms. Staff was nice and helpful. Irene was kind enough to show us inside the suite as we had asked about it and it was not booked that day. The suite looked very spacious. Overall the Edgewater Inn seemed to be a reasonable value.”

“The hotel is exquisitely decorated with an old classic atmosphere. The bed was very soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. Unfortunately, it took a long time to get hot water from the bathroom faucet, and the water was very small. Maybe you should pay attention when it's cold”
