「Excellent 」

「The owner of this lovely small hotel - really like a bed & breakfast - was waiting outside on her sidewalk bench when we pulled up. Beautiful quiet village in the gorgeous North France mountains, bicyclists and hikers everywhere, fresh food and delicious local bubbly wine (remember don't call it "champagne" if it's not from the Champagne region!). Very friendly. As traditional in France, they are very proud of their French language and don't particularly try to excel in "speaking English" but...

Je regrette toutefois que les linges de maison (draps, serviettes) ne soient pas fournis et surtout que cette information ne soit pas plus visible sur le site hotels.com. cela m’a occasionné un surcout qui aurait pu etre évité.」

「Great stay as always, whilst some of the rooms are a little dated, they are spotlessly clean with always plenty of hot water and more than adequate heating. Staff excellent, and spa area is nice to have after a day skiing. 」

「We stayed here on a one night stopover when travelling to the alps from Antibes. Wow..! - super stylish and beautifully furnished with really helpful and friendly staff. Retro room but immaculate and comfortable. The restaurant was absolutely superb. We did a month long road trip in France this summer, and the dinner experience was easily our favourite of the trip. We were even invited into the kitchen to meet the fantastic staff..! Simply fantastic. Highly recommended.」

「Breakfast was good. Parking was adequate. Restaurant was good. Staff was good, including the restaurant. It’s in the middle of the midieval town, which was built on the rock cliffs. The river runs in the middle of the town, and there is a low level bridge at tge hotel to walk to a park across the river. We stayed here in early May, and the day we were there, the bridge was partially flooded. But the next morning the bridge was dry. The road bridge is way above, and never floods, so no worries....
