There are no bad days at the beach! This was my first time coming to DE. However, the “oceanfront” room was incredibly disappointing and we won’t stay here again or recommend it. We were in 312, which has a floodlight shining directly onto the balcony. We thought, maybe we can just leave the door open to listen to the waves with the blackout curtains drawn. But then our dear neighbor smoked some incredibly skunk smelling weed that wafted in. While not your problem, we wished he would have been more considerate. Both double beds were so uncomfortable that we both awoke at least once an hour, tossing and turning. But, the sunrise was stunning. I did ask the front desk about changing rooms, and would have gladly paid any difference, but I was told that there was absolutely nothing available. So, we made the most of it.
