Beautiful Villa, relaxing Stay

The villa was in an Ideal location for us as we had a car.There is a parking space. The villa is very comfortable with a lovely pool. Had a very relaxing stay, villa had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and told us everything we need to know. We were visited by three cats which we loved and they just added to the charm of the villa. Would highly recommend.

Fun in Crete

This property was everything the website showed. The owner was present when we arrived and he helped us understand all we needed to know. The location was superb! Close to all we wanted to do during our stay.

Villa Aphrodite - Excellent!

Villa Aphrodite is an excellent holiday villa with everything you could wish for to enjoy a great holiday in the sunshine. The housekeeping service was fantastic. Cleanliness and amenities was superb. The owner was extremely friendly and professional and wanted to ensure that his guests had a great stay. We would definitely recommend this villa for a family holiday. Thank you!

Perfect for a small group

We stayed at Villa Aphrodite in Adele during August. Prior to leaving England I was saving the number for the host into my phone; I allowed it to ring once by accident. He immediately called me back and made the arrangements regarding the keys. Straight away, it was clear that Angelos was a very attentive host. We arrived late at night; the following morning he visited us to explain the intricacies of the villa and the cleaning arrangements. Our cleaning lady, Irene, was top notch. She came twice per week, changing all towels and bed linen each time. We found her to be incredibly friendly and by far the best cleaning lady of anywhere we have ever rented. As a small family group, this villa is hard to beat; fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (including a washing machine and a dishwasher) and located fifteen minutes or so drive away from the beautiful town of Rethymnon where we went to eat in the evenings. There are plenty of local beaches and everyone is friendly and helpful. We have visited this area twice previously, staying in different villas and this is the one to which we would return. If we had to say one improvement, it would be that the dishwasher could do with rinsing through. This would be incredibly picky but would make the place absolutely perfect. Thank you for a marvellous stay.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Ferienhaus! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, äußerst sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Während unseres Aufenthalts (1 Woche) wurden sowohl das Haus als auch der Pool einmal gereinigt.Die Granatapfelbäume im Garten verbreiten mediterranes Flair. Als Katzenfreunde haben wir uns außerdem über die Gesellschaft der zahlreichen Katzen sehr gefreut. Der Vermieter war engagiert und hilfsbereit. Ein kleiner Hinweis: In der Umgebung gibt es einige Hunde, deren nächtliches Bellen manchmal etwas laut war. Auch die nahegelegene Schule kann tagsüber für etwas Geräuschkulisse sorgen. Beides hat unseren Gesamteindruck jedoch nur geringfügig getrübt.Insgesamt ein wundervolles Ferienhaus, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Bien pour une famille en dehors des plages

Belle maison bien agencée. Dans un petit village à quatre kilomètres de la plage. Seul petit bémol se trouve à proximité de deux villas qui accueillent 7 et 10 personnes et les soirées sont un peu bruyantes malgré les consignes indiquées de respect du voisinage

Top-Immobilie, top Service

Die Bezeichnung "Villa" ist nicht übertrieben. Die Vor-Ort Situation entsprach ziemlich genau den Darstellungen auf den Fotos. Der Reinigungsservice (2x/Woche) ist top, Poolpflege inkl. und der Eigentümer auch bei kleinen technischen Fragen sofort zur Stelle. Gute Basis, von dort aus ganz Kreta zu entdecken.

Sehr schöne Villa, sehr netter Gastgeber

Wir haben im Oktober 2021 einen zweiwöchigen Urlaub in der Villa Aphrodite verbracht. Die Betreuung durch die Agentur war perfekt: schnelle und präzise Kommunikation, sehr kurze Antwortzeiten. Das Haus ist liebevoll und komplett ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Alle 3 - 4 Tage wurden Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt und das Haus gereinigt. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir auch den Eigentümer, der uns zu Beginn mit 3 Flaschen Getränken aus eigener Produktion begrüßt und uns eine professionelle Einweisung gegeben hat. Auch während unseres Aufenthalts hat er uns öfter mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten überrascht. Wir haben uns ingesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Exceptionnel

Très belle villa dans un village au calme avec supermarché très pratique. Très proche de rethymnon très facile de sortir le soir. Les prestations sont très appréciables : 2 fois par semaine ménage, changement des draps et serviettes . Jardin très bien entretenu ainsi que la piscine. Petite attention à l’arrivée : eau fraîche et fruits. Propriétaire disponible mais discret. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, nous conseillons vivement cette location.

Verblijf Adele

Vakantiewoning op zich was prima. Directe omgeving om de vakantiewoning heen niet zo netjes omdat er een appartement in aanbouw is. Hierdoor niet zo'n mooie uitkijk. Verder in Adele niets te doen. Je bent aangewezen op een auto om dingen te ondernemen.

Vor dem Haus hat jemand einen Bau begonnen. Dort wurde, als wir vor Ort waren, nicht gebaut. Wenn der Bau fertig ist, wird das Haus an Attraktivität verlieren, da die Nachbarn dann den Garten einsehen können. Wenn das kommuniziert wird, weiß jeder woran er ist. Die Einweisung war sehr umfassend und auch professionell durchgeführt. Highlight war die kleine Erstausstattung im Kühlschrank mit Kuchen und Dessertwein. Wir hatten vorab einige Fragen, die von der Agentur sehr schnell und freundlich beantwortet wurden. Alles in Allem würden wir das Haus wieder buchen. Hinweis: Auf GoogleMaps wird in dem Ort eine Taverne angezeigt.... die konnten wir nicht finden... das scheint ein alter Eintrag zu sein. Allerdings gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, wenn man mobil ist, nur an der Strand-Strasse sollte man bei den Restaurants qualitative Abstriche machen: Teuer, aber dafür auch nur durchschnittlich gut. Fährt man in die Tavernen in den Bergen hat man günstigere Preise und deutlich bessere Qualität. Uns hat der Urlaub auf Kreta viel Spaß gemacht und wir haben viel gesehen und erlebt.

Top quality villa

This is a 2 bedroom villa, with bath, shower and wc upstairs, and a second wc with a shower downstairs. Outside is a pool, patio, outdoor shower, BBQ and ample parking. That covers the basics...in essence this is a superbly well equipped villa, quality fittings and furniture. As well as the pool area to sit out on, there is an upstairs balcony for each of the two bedrooms. And a decent kitchen is part of the open plan downstairs. All topped with air conditioning in the downstairs room and each bedroom. The villa is wholly oriented to the east, bar a couple of small windows and a small north facing balcony. This means it catches the morning sun through to about teatime. There's enough space and equipment to conjure shade if the heat gets too much. We enjoyed meeting our owner, and the pool guy and cleaner, all of whom do a good job. The local shop (Just around the corner) has enough stock to keep you going for breakfast and thereafter. If you need more there's other local shops and a Lidl in a few miles. Location is somewhat away from the local centres of activity, so other than the local taverna (which is perfectly fine but has a relatively limited food offer) you will need to travel at least to the next village, and you'll need transport for it. The upside of this is the villa is quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of rural Greece, which includes the buzzards that regularly traverse the skies. On the whole, it's a lovely villa, and for our first time on Crete was a delightful introduction.

Superbe location

Location très bien située au calme et proche de la mer environ 3 kms, très bien équipée nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. La piscine est appréciable à tout moment de la journée. Très bien accueillis par le propriétaire, le gâteau de sa maman est délicieux.

Sehr schönes Haus im Dorf Adele im Norden Kretas

Wir waren Anfang Ende Mai 2018 auf Kreta und verbrachten eine Woche in diesem wirklich schönen Haus. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, im Bedarfsfall sofort erreichbar und empfängt einen sehr nett mit eigenen Produkten der Familie. Bereits die Informationen zur Anreise sind sehr detailliert und auch alles andere ist perfekt organisiert. Das Haus wurde Mitte der Woche gereingt und der Poolservice kam 2 malig in dieser Zeit. Das Haus liegt im Dorf eingebunden recht ruhig und man hat auf dem Grundstück vor dem Haus eine große Parkfläche. Wer ein gut gelegenes, sehr sauberes Haus mit Pool sucht, dem können wir die Villa Aphrodite uneingeschränkt empfehlen !

Perfekt!

Perfekt! Wir waren zu zweit im September 2017 für 2 Wochen hier und es war himmlisch...alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir wurden vom Eigentümmer mit selbstgemachten Wein, Kuchen und Obst aus eigenem Anbau empfangen. Die beiden Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss sind klein aber fein...beide mit Einbauschränken , Klimaanlage und TV. Oben gibt es ein Bad mit Wanne und Waschmaschine und eine große Logia. Unten wird man von einem tollen Pool empfangen, rundum mit kleinem Garten und 4 Liegestühlen, großer Tisch mit 6 Stühlen. Im Inneren ein weiteres Duschbad, offene Küche mit fantastischer Ausstattung (Geschirrspülmaschine, großer Kühlschrank mit 3 Gefrierfächern, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle und genügend Besteck und Geschirr. 2x wöchentlich wurde der Pool und das Haus gereinigt. Es gab jeweils frische Bettwäsche und ausreichend Handtücher, auch für den Pool!!! Wir kommen wieder!

Stylish,Modern and Comfortable

After a delayed night flight, a wrong turning and a punctured tyre - we finally arrived to find the owner was still waiting for us with the key and some home made Greek goodies and produce. What fabulous,warm hospitality! It's a sharp turn off the National Road to get to Adele, so it's worth checking the route on Google Earth especially if you are due to arrive in the dark. Everything at the Villa is run efficiently and well: the housekeeper arrives regularly, the pool is cleaned out and we even saw the gardener on our last day. The pool is a welcome addition and there is enough shade surrounding the terrace to provide a welcome relief from the intense summer sun. We enjoyed living amongst the locals and bought locally produced olive oil, bread and fish to cook on the BBQ from the corner shop and mini market just outside the village. Whilst you do need a car, it's not far from the plethora of beaches and bays and other local attractions. The furthest we travelled to was Phaistos and Aghia Triada which we thought were archaelogical gems and we also explored the Armari Valley with its spectacular mountain ranges, natural water springs and scenery, stopping off for lunch at a traditionalTaverna tucked away in one of the mountain villages. Moni Arkadi, was a memorable visit with its turbulent history and we had a memorable lunch at the Faragi mountain Taverna whilst our daughter was kept amused in their garden playground. Rethymnon and Xania are great towns to explore with their shops, ports and architecture. Try a Rethymnon beer too! We had a relaxing summer holiday yet enjoyed exploring this part of this area of Crete. Thank you

Griechische Gastfreundschaft

Wir durften das neu fertiggestellte Ferienhaus als eine der ersten Familien bewohnen und wurden vom Hausherren mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen und anderen kulinarischen Leckereien empfangen. Die Einrichtung entsprach der Beschreibung voll und ganz. Alles war sauber, die Betten sehr bequem. Die Dachterrasse wurde unser Lieblingsplatz. Pool war perfekt und wurde laufend gereinigt. Einzig ein Auto ist notwendig. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen

Relaxing

If you are looking for great night life, this villa isn't for you, however, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this place will suit you to a tee. The villa is in a small village, which has 1 mini market, 1 petrol station and 1 taverna. The villa has all that you need for a relaxing holiday. It has its own swimming pool, which is a fine size for this villa. The rooms are all modern and the beds are comfortable. All in all there is everything you need for a peaceful holiday.
