Calla was a perfect stop for my daughter and I to enjoy some relaxation after our cruise and get our legs back after being on a ship for 8 days. We loved everything about this hotel. The amenities felt luxury but also very comfortable, and laid back. The owners and their family treated us like we were family and so kind. They offered many ideas for local restaurants and sights to see. Highly recommend!

First off the boutique hotel is just perfect. The rooms are so well appointed for couples or families with kitchenettes, multiple bathrooms, seperate areas, etc. All this across from a beautiful beach managed by the hotel. The staff is very friendly and warm. You also have free access to parking . The location is excellent as well, far enough from the louder and busier area of old town but close enough for you to indulge. You should put this property on the top of your list if going to Rethymno!

An amazing hotel

I can't praise this hotel enough. As someone who has traveled extensively and stayed in numerous luxury hotels, Calla Luxury Suites stands in a league of its own. The hotel is small, with only six rooms, and there are more staff members than rooms — and it shows in the level of service. It was consistently and exceptionally flawless. The room was modern and clean. We had the pool area mostly to ourselves. The beach is just across the road, and the sun loungers are freely available for hotel guests. The hotel bar also serves the beach area. The highlight of our stay was the individually prepared breakfast! I warmly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a true luxury experience.

This was our best and favorite stay of our trip. The place was immaculate and not a single detail was overlooked. Everything was spotless. You get treats when you arrive, treats during your stay, and farewell treats as well which was a nice surprise. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like royalty. Walking distance to tons of restaurants. There is a rooftop to have coffee or cocktails from the bar on premises or you can cross the street to the beach and be waited on by the staff while lounging. What a gem. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to be back!

If want a hotel where the owners treat you as a person and not a number, come to Calla Luxury Seafront Suites. Katja, Michalis, and their team are absolutely incredible. They saved us so much time by helping us arrange transportation, book taxis, and pointing us toward the best authentic restaurants in the Old Town area.The beach location is central yet quiet at night for a peaceful sleep. We loved swimming in the beautiful pool after a day at the beach and watching the gorgeous sunsets from the rooftoop. The breakfasts are freshly cooked and include special Greek treats each morning. It's been many years since I have stayed at a hotel that prepares such a special and fresh breakfast. The room was immaculate, clean, comfortable. No detail overlooked. We stayed in a first floor room with hot tub which we loved as we had our private entrance and patio surrounded by beautiful plants. Thank you both for creating such a relaxing and welcoming experience. We cant wait to visit again from Germany. Efharisto! Kris and Jimmy

This hotel is absolutely amazing in every way. The owners are lovely, there to greet us when we arrived later than expected. The hotel and rooms are equipped with the most current technology and have everything you need, it is located across from the beach, with their own subbed/umbrellas. One of my favourite hotels I have ever stayed at—I was very sad to leave.

We chose Calla Luxury Villas for our June stay in Crete because of its excellent reviews, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The villas are beautifully designed with a clean, contemporary style and upscale finishes throughout. Upon arrival, we were given a tour and welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter, which was a wonderful touch. The keyless entry system made everything convenient, and our loft-style suite offered stunning views of the beach and water through large floor-to-ceiling windows. With only six villa suites, the property feels quiet, private, and relaxing. For several days, we were the only guests and felt like we had our own private resort. The rooftop terrace was one of our favorite spots for enjoying morning coffee at sunrise and wine at sunset. The staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. Guests receive complimentary beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs across the street, and staff regularly bring fresh water to the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower had excellent water pressure, and the small pool and deck area were perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. Parking beside the property is limited, but additional street parking is available nearby. The only minor note is that very tall guests (over 6’4”) may find some areas of the loft a little tight. We will definitely stay here again with our family.
