The place is clean, very small plunge pool. The owner is very professional and helpful which makes the whole experience worthwhile. This place is owned by a local family so it’s nice to support the locals while staying at their town. The cafes, bakeries and super markets are very close and the owner is super helpful in telling you all about what Crete has to offer.

Perfect Hotel for a City Breal

Amazing hotel in the heart of the city. Plunge pool was excellent after a long drive. Try the little bakery to the right as you leave the hotel. Amazing!

Casa de Gaga was a comfortable, well appointed lodging. Well maintained and clean with a very helpful staff. A number of dining options just steps from your room. Centrally located in Old Town Rethymno. We had a wonderful week there. We will stay there again.

This property is truly beautiful for and old town. Recently renovated and very nice. The owner was an absolute gem. So sweet, kind and welcoming. The added breakfast was so yummy and so cheap. The location made the challenging walk with luggage from the parking lot a couple blocks away worth it! The bed was comfortable and the space was very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Congratulations on your first year! A New York loft vibe suite - attention to detail on fixtures and fittings. An absolute delightful stay. We loved how close the old town and port were for our one night stay. My family loved this abode. We definitely look forward to visiting Manos and the team one day. Manos was wonderful from check-in to room introduction to suggestions for restaurants. The hotel is in old town but not in the middle of the restaurants so quieter than others. Less than 5 minute walk to the action. The rooms are new with latest technology and are large. I had booked two separate reservations so changed rooms and saw that the “standard” room was roomy, clean and very nice - the “superior” room was all of the same but could have slept another two people on the pullout couch - lots of seating -my friend had another superior room which had a loft with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs, the kitchen and sitting area downstairs. Beautiful - I would for sure recommend this place.

Mein Aufenthalt im Casa di Gaga in der Altstadt von Rethymno war hervorragend. Der Gastgeber Manolis war unglaublich freundlich, hat mir mit tollen Tipps weitergeholfen und stand jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Gebäude selbst ist wunderschön und die Lage perfekt – man ist zu Fuß sowohl schnell am Strand als auch mitten im Zentrum. Absolut empfehlenswert! My stay at Casa di Gaga in the old town of Rethymno was excellent. The host Manolis was incredibly friendly, always ready with great advice and support whenever needed. The building itself is beautiful, and the location is perfect – within walking distance to both the beach and the city center. Highly recommended!
