Beautiful Holiday in a Perfect Home

Villa Akira is a nicely located, very beautiful, quiet, clean and dilligently equipped spot. It provides plenty of space, has powerful air conditioning, is cleaned by the owner family and team every three days. Whilst visitors need a car and tourists need to get used to periodic wild fire warning through cellphone roaming in the area, security and comfort is taken care of. Vaggelis and his father were very kind, polite and helpful, providing Croissants presents on day 2, after depositing keys upon arrival on day 1, even helping with the check out, and making sure everything remained ready. Upon check out, the house was not even inspected in full, so we felt comfortable, safe and welcome during our entire two weeks stay. The house, the beautiful pool, the outdoor and indoor area was pure luxury, and we can only recommend for 5 or 6 people. Very nice people, great vacation experience in July / August 2024.

An amazing villa in the hills above Rethymno. The property is stunning and the location is super private, with great views. The hosts make it a great experience from start to finish. Thanks you Vagellis, attentive but discrete.

Gorgeous luxury villa

The villa was absolutely gorgeous - even better than we had hoped. Everything was spotless, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful, even providing a welcome pack of groceries as a gift. The pool and outside seating areas are wonderful, offering spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. I would happily go back here every year!You will need a car to get from the villa into the town as it is too far to walk safely up steep, narrow roads, but it’s only about a 10 min drive.
