Great view
We enjoyed our stay and loved waking up to the view of the lake and deer eating in the yard. The house was clean and cozy. Chris was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Amazing property for family with kids.
What an incredible home and property. So comfortable and everything you need to have an awesome get away. Our kids (7 and 10) loved the ninja warrior course and the swing. We fished, kayaked and SUP. The girls even swam although there is no shortage of lily pads. We hope to be come back again. We sure appreciate the lovely stay and Chris was super easy to work with and quick to respond to messages.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors!
Perfect cabin with everything we needed to relax and enjoy family time! Very nice cabin with quality and comfortable amenities. Comfy beds, A/C kept us comfortable, easy to keep clean. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. Explored the quiet neighborhood, watched deer in the yard and cooked meals on the fire pit. Good food, drinks and friendly staff at Birchwood just a few doors down. Very enjoyable stay!

Great location
We enjoyed a 4 night stay on Third Lake. The owners really have invested in their property. It is rare for us to have a dishwasher, a gas stove, and laundry to use. The upstairs feels so modern. Their large patio and fireplace were very enjoyable. I would say that it is way better with a boat, to escape the lily pad area. We still caught fish from the dock, but they were pretty small. The owner Chris was very responsive, and understanding with an issue while staying there. Also great place for our dog, he had some room to run. We appreciated our stay. One of our best cabins over the years.

Hi Melissa We actually have a newer 2019’ 14’ row boat coming up for next year. It’s in my driveway at home. So besides the optional pontoon boat rental and kayaks, there will be an aluminum row boat. Thank you for the feedback Chris

Great northwoods family get away
We had a great experience on Moen lake. It is close to Rhienlander, so you have Walmart, laundrymat (with Ice Cream), and restaurants. Chris is an excellent host. He was very responsive anytime we reached out. He reached out during our stay a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended

Large cottage on a beautiful chain of lakes
This cottage was just what we were looking for. In the woods but also close to town. Well thought out amenities throughout the property. The air conditioning was a huge plus. We were so happy you allowed our dog Willa to vacation with us. I am not sure which of us was more excited about catching pan fish. We did bring our own kayaks but loved that there were extras on the property.

Beautiful Home
Clean, nice size, big backyard. No problems with internet service. Stayed for a softball tourney. Only about 10 minutes away from Hodag Dome. Very convenient.

We had a nice time at the lake. It was great being able to launch the boat next door at the lodge.
The owners were very easy to communicate with and the house was new and clean! The dogs enjoyed the big backyard.

Great Property - Fun Location!
It was the fall at its peak color. It was an amazing time of year to visit. Communication with the owner was great! There is a bar within walking distance with friendly staff and food. I got engaged out on the pier. It was a great weekend! This would be a good spot for a family of two as well!

Fishing Getaway w/ Dad
Meticulously clean house and property. House is very new, I believe it’s less than 4 years old. Appliances all new and clean and everything worked properly. Communication between owners and myself was seamless, very responsive. Beds were comfortable, all linens smelled very clean as well. Dock was great for fishing. I would recommend this house to anyone that wants to experience the Northwoods in comfort.

Nice, relaxing place
The property is fantastic. Kids played on the swing and ninja line in between fishing off the pier. The house is really nice. Plenty of room with any amenities you’d need. The outside patio and furniture are great.

Great getaway and great property!
We had an amazing time. Is and our friends had a great time relaxing on the patio by the fire and all day lake fun. Very friendly people and fantastic food just down the road. Everything was super clean and organized. Plenty of things to do at the cabin and away. We had to do a few store runs and it was only 9 minutes to town. There’s also a great bait shop just 3 miles away.

This was the perfect size for 3 adults and a teen and two dogs with plenty of room to spare. This is your classic lake cabin in Northern Wisconsin. The host was beyond helpful and prompt with communication before, during and even after check out. We sat by the fire pit every night with a gorgeous view of the lake. The lake it self is on a chain of lakes that gave us plenty of fishing opportunities each of our three days with the boat rental. The boat rent was really our deciding factor with this booking. We enjoyed tubing as well with the boat rental. We also spent a day on the ATV trails that were only a 14 mile drive to a trail head. Husband and I are already talking about making the ten hour drive back here for another ATV trip.

A Comfortable & Peaceful Retreat!
We stayed for 6 nights for our annual "unplugged" family vacation. The owner (Chris) was always prompt communicating with us and the cabin had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds are comfy, the A/C and ceiling fans worked great to keep the place cool. The leather couch and chair in the living room are sooo comfy and great for naps when you need a break from the outdoor activities. Although we were mostly unplugged, we did use the wifi occasionally and it worked well. It was very nice to have the patio space near the cabin and we enjoyed campfires in the fire pit most nights. The fire pit has a cooking grate so we made dinner over the fire one night instead of using the grill. For a change of scenery, you can take a chair down to the dock and read a book while listening to the bullfrogs. We brought a boat and explored all five lakes on the Moen chain. (We visited the Birchwood Lodge just a couple of docks down for great burgers and pizza a couple of times and they were kind enough to let us use their boat landing to put our boat in). Unfortunately, the fishing was not great when we were there but that may have been due to the increased activity on the lakes for the 4th of July weekend. The Moen chain is known for excellent fishing so maybe we were doing something wrong! :) All in all, we had an awesome stay!

Nice Cabin on the Lake
Cabin was on a remote part of the lake, nice and quiet, but close to the Birchwood Lodge, a bar, within walking distance if you want it. Noise was not an issue ever. Great spot on the lake, with an awesome patio with fire pit. Firewood will cost you extra if you want to use it. Lots of spiders in the house is my only negative. I hate spiders. We were able to get rid of most of the ones we could see. Appreciated the air conditioning in every room and it worked well. Overall a great stay, but I might bring a broom or my hand vacuum to get rid of the spiders if I came back. Still gave it 5 stars as my kids and dogs loved the lake!

We had a wonderful time. The owner Chris was very responsive. Granddaughters loved the swing, kayaks, and waterboards. Husband was so glad we had a/c since Mon and Tues were very hot. I was glad to have a dishwasher, since I am the chief cook and bottle washer.

Great Lakeside House
The patio, backyard, and being on the lake are this place’s greatest strengths. The patio has a grill, fire pit, and plenty of space for people to sit and relax. The backyard is huge with all the space you can ask for. We played almost every yard game imaginable like bags, spikeball, and beersbee to name a few. There are also a lot of trees around that kept us out of the hot sun. Being on the lake is a plus by itself and there’s kayaks, paddle boards, and a pontoon available rent to get out on the water. The house it’s self it’s big but has everything you need for when you are inside. We mainly used the house to rest at night and cook breakfast in the mornings. Overall my friends and I had a pretty unforgettable week here.
