Wir hatten am Anfang ein Problem gehabt, in unser gebuchtes Zimmer gebracht zu werden. Wir konnten erst gegen 20 Uhr in das gewünschte Zimmer rein. Frühstück war super lecker. Das meiste Personal war super freundlich. Die Lage ist ruhig und angenehm. Privatpool sehr schön. Spa und Gym sowie Internet und Kommunikation über deren App definitiv verbesserungsbedürftig.

I love this hotel it is so relaxing & what makes it great is the colleagues in the hotel, the leadership team are lovely and authentic and care, and engage with you. The rooms are fabulous and the housekeeping outstanding. The breakfast is exceptional, the fresh fruit and honey, everything first class. The a’la carte restaurant is very special and the food is amazing, first class . The chef is very good . I also like the fact you can use the other hotels, Lindos village has a great bar and excellent terrace for a drink in the evening, the buggy will take you up there and collect you….. the pool area exceptional…..

Whilst room accommodation itself was decent, the private pool itself needed some attention, missing tiles, poor quality of finishing etc.. and so cold it was very uncomfortable to use, the main pool was the same extremely cold temperature, the sea was warmer. General upkeep of the surrounding areas to the rooms was poor with plates left outside with remnants of in-room dining for 24-48hours, and in many areas. Pool lights remain on 24hrs per day, such that the light shone through the open plan bathroom/bedroom lighting up the room at night. Poolside furniture at our room consisted of wired metal seating with base cushions alone, in a rusty condition. Housekeeping though were very good, also the breakfast staff, however there appeared to be a lack of staff at breakfast to cover the volume of people and tables, leaving you searching for a table, cups and cutlery. The plastic glasses served by the pool had certainly seen better days, whilst the layout of the sun beds and umbrellas afforded decent amount of space between guests. Sun-bed/umbrellas provided on the beach, however no service unlike other hotels positioned along the beach. Overall more 3-4 star rating perhaps more appropriate given the lack of maintenance and upkeep of the standards that should be associated with a 5 star rating.

We loved our stay at this hotel, everything was great, the view from the pool area is beautiful and it’s less than a 10 minute taxi ride into Lindos. Fab relaxing holiday location!

Lindos Grand is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location, with very good facilities and a wonderful beach. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere did not live up to the hotel itself. We found some staff unfriendly and at times felt looked down on rather than welcomed. Despite the beautiful surroundings, the atmosphere lacked warmth and even many of the guests seemed to walk around looking rather miserable. One experience summed this up. We told a member of staff we were going to a supermarket and she watched us leave in a taxi. As a local, she would surely have known supermarkets were closed on Sundays, but said nothing. We arrived to find it closed and had to take another taxi straight back. When we explained what had happened, the response was essentially a shrug. It was not the wasted journey that bothered us, but the lack of care. We also had an issue with our booking. We were told it would be looked into, but nobody got back to us and we had to keep chasing. We eventually received a late checkout as a gesture of goodwill, which we appreciated, but the communication could have been much better. It is a beautiful hotel and we loved the beach, but five star hospitality is also about how guests are made to feel. Sadly, that warmth was missing for us and we would not return.

The staff are what make this hotel great - the hotel itself is clean and modern and very close to the beach, and had a lovely quiet and serene pool area, but the main quality are the staff who were all extremely polite & professional, but also friendly and personable - they make the hotel somewhere that you want to return to.

5* Review We stayed for a week bed and breakfast and cannot fault this hotel. Beautiful property with attentive, friendly staff. Would reccomend B&B option as there are so many amazing restaurants to try in Lindos. We will return to this hotel! See you next year Lindos Grand Resort and Spa.
