Fun Spring Weekend

The home and property were perfect for our visit to Portland and to the Mt. Hood area. We enjoyed the game room, walks by the river and the cozy kitchen and living room for a long weekend with family and friends. We would definitely love to return and will recommend this home for travelers of all ages!

Great Fall Escape

The home was stunning and the view and access to the Sandy River, stellar! My husband, daughters and fur baby, enjoyed every minute of our stay. We all agree that we would love to visit it again!

Great stay in the mountains

We loved staying here, it made it especially easy to maneuver in the kitchen with all cabinets labeled. The power went out during our stay and the team was very communicative.

Family reunion

This was one of the cleanest houses we have rented. Plenty of room for all 7 of us. Great deck area for eating outside. The game room was fun.

Fantastic family getaway!

Our family of four (mum, dad, girl (11) and boy (9)) loved our stay at Brightwood. Well equipped house in a tranquil location and exactly what we were looking for. Sitting on the deck / lying in the hammock whilst listening to the river and birds was bliss. Though a bit of a drive, we found it well located for Portland, Mount Hood, trails, fruit farms, etc. Highly recommended and would stay again!

Wonderful Mount Hood Area Home

We had a great time at this well stocked and conveniently located home in the Mount Hood area. Back deck overlooks and provides access to a small river. Peaceful and relaxing! Game room provided opportunities for lots of fun in the evenings.

Fun getaway to the mountains

This house was located in a nice mountain neighborhood. The property overlooks a river and has access to walk to the river. it was very peaceful. The inside of the house was very well maintained and the set up was great for our multi age group. Having the garage set up as a game room was great for us to be able to spread out and do different activities in the house. Very enjoyable experience

Amazing property inside and out!

This property was AMAZING inside and out! Plenty of room in this large, gorgeous house. The amenities are the best I've ever seen in any rental house (although surprisingly no blender?). Our family had a great New Year's week. In spite of the worse start to ski season in 34 years (no snow), we had so much to keep us amused! Game room, fireplace, sauna.

Loved the rushing stream!!!

The house was just wonderful. The best part was waking up to the sound of the rushing stream! Such a beautiful setting. It had everything you could possibly need. One thing it does need is a coffee maker that works (it needs some maintenance or a new one). Everything else, we loved and didn't want to leave.

Comfortable and clean gorgeous home

Two families of 4 stayed at this gorgeous river front house. We were all very comfortable. The master bedroom bed was spectacular. Very comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was clean. The sauna was a welcome addition. The master bedroom opens to a deck overlooking the river. We were there in winter but this would be so great in the summer. Just gorgeous location. We plan to be back!

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful stay as two families with toddlers (four adults, two kids under 2). The kitchen was well stocked and ready for us to cook and the game room was a fun bonus. The only note I have is that we did not have access to the walk in closet in the first floor bedroom. We had intended to have one of the babies sleep in there but it was locked for the homeowner's storage. Overall, the house was lovely and we look forward to visiting again.

Excellent location in a beautiful home by the water

Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood and the sound of the rushing water was peaceful. Location was great and easy access to key places in Oregon. Beds were comfortable. Living room could use 1 or 2 more comfortable chairs and the upstairs bedroom could use pillows without the shams on them. Only other suggestion would be to have a window covering on the upstairs bathroom shower window. There are people who walk behind the house and can see through the clear glass window. I would highly recommend this home and their communication with us was always quick.

I loved the home, very clean. The location was perfect, we visited Timberline, Government Camp and Ski Bowl. We spent most of our time outside, on the deck and we brought our own chairs and sat on the nice beachy area along the river for many hours. We had an evening fire in the firepit area. It is a beautiful home in a great location, even walking around the neighborhood was fun, The beds are a bit firm. We had 6 adults and the only one that slept well was in the queen room upstairs. Downstairs bathrooms have motion sensor lights that are very bright with no adjustments, so you get hit with bright light while sleeping. Kitchen is well equipped but I thought there was a regular coffee maker and one that used KCups. Not a KCup compatible machine, FYI.

Riverside getaway with all the conveniences

We had a wonderful day at this property. There is great hiking in the area, but it’s hard to leave this place because it’s so beautiful out back with the sound of the river, and clean air. We made dinner three nights in a row and the kitchen as well equipped plenty of games to play available plenty of room.
