Enjoy an excellent location for Berkeley, San Francisco, and Marin County while paying significantly less than in Berkeley! The best way to experience the SF-Bay Area is from our home in East Richmond with easy access to El Cerrito Del Norte BART, the Richmond-San Francisco ferry, and the freeway. Relax in the comfort of our spacious (1500 sq ft) three bedroom/two full bathroom historic and beautiful home with views of downtown San Francisco, Mount Tamalpais, and the Bay from the living room window and patio. The home is literally steps from a neighborhood park featuring a seasonal creek, redwoods, and a large grassy area for games with kids, yoga, reading, etc.
Getting Around:
The El Cerrito Del Norte BART station is a five minute bike ride or a 15 min walk from the house. This gives you direct access to the UC Berkeley campus (30 min door to door if biking to BART) and downtown Berkeley, Oakland and San Francisco, as well as the SF and Oakland airports. Also available is the #7 Bus that picks up 0.2 miles from our home and goes to UC Berkeley's campus, as well as the Ohlone Greenway for a flat ~6 mile ride to UC Berkeley's campus. Riding the ferry to San Francisco’s Embarcadero is lots of fun and a 10 min drive away! If you bring your own car, the house is a short distance from Interstate-80. There is ample safe street parking in the neighborhood.
