Location was very convenient for the plans for the weekend however because of its location signals were poor. Also the internet was down for the weekend and the satellite reception was poor. Luckily I wasn’t in the room often enough to watch tv and had grace as it pertained to the usage of the internet.

Pros: location, nice staff Cons: no WiFi during our stay; weird smell in a lot of parts of the hotel; visibly dirty areas on the ground, stairwell, etc.; chair and AC in room were visibly dirty

Room was as if it were in the process of renovations. Limited towels. Couldn’t get additional wash clothes to ensure separate usage for face and body. The WiFi was not working, which did not allow me to complete work.

Spacious room with extremely comfortable beds! Name brand toiletries were a wonderful perk. Having laundry and kitchen facilities was fantastic although that might be the loudest dishwasher on the planet, lol.

The room/kitchenette/bathroom were very clean and pretty large compared to other hotels at this price! The only complaint I have is that the elevator took forever. I was concerned we'd get stuck in it a few times. Both key cards were deactivated on the second to last day of our stay, even though we kept them away from our phones.

Candlewoods Suites was a welcome relief from the price-gauging Wingate by Wyndom at Short Pump. I will never stay at another Wyndom hotel.

Room was fully equipped with all the amenities. Nothing was missing. Clean, organized, modern. Well designed with plenty of space. I really liked the reclining chair and the work station. Hugh fridge and microwave. Kitchenette had all the utensils. I could stay in that room for a long time. Probably the best outfitted room I've stayed in.

Very clean! They were able to get me in two hours early which was amazing. My room was directly across from the laundry facility but still pretty quiet. I had a kitchenette with silverware and appliances. The bed was so very comfy. Definitely worth the rate.

There was an issue with my room thermostat. The sensor that detects a person being in the room, for energy conservation, would not recognize my presence in the room unless I was up and moving. Heat would shut off when I was in bed and room would get cold, until I sat up and waved my arms. The heat would come back on immediately. I did not immediately report the issue - but I should have. However, I had a first floor room and the elevator was out of service so I didn’t want to move! Signed - Sleepless in Sandston !

Good price. Close to the airport. There is no food or restaurants walkable from hotel, just a small concession stand in the hotel lobby. The elevator was broken.

Convenient location, well maintained exterior, clean entrance and lobby, professional and friendly staff and easy check-in, room immaculate and well equipped, furniture in very good repair, bathroom and actually entire room super clean, wifi great, nice kitchen. Downsides: for the price it should have breakfast. I’ve stayed in several nearby places and they offer it. But this had a kitchen…so. But I won’t stay there again just because I need the convenience of breakfast on site that I don’t have to cook. Hmm..parking is tough, I had to look hard for a spot and found one around back, but had to walk to front of building in the cold to enter building. And, elevator was out so I had to walk to the third floor. Overall, a 4 out of 5. But very nice.
