Checked in around maybe 8pm; the room seem clean but it was not. The bathroom was still dirty hair in the bathtub, bathroom floor was filthy and worst of all there was a use razor underneath the sink! I told the front lady and all she did was noted it and gave me Clorox wipes so that I can clean the bathroom!

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever not had the pleasure to sleep in. It was hard and when you sat down on it, there was a sound like a drum underneath going off. There were some tears in the couch upholstery, but it wasn't too dirty. In the morning I luckily did not step on the weirdest caterpillar and then promptly checked out.

First I want to compliment the check-in process. I arrived late and the process was very speedy. I appreciated that. Cleanliness was not great. The halls has some trash left out by occupants and bathroom was just not spotless. I’m not sure who was eating breakfast but it didn’t seem like residents. More like the work crew. I’m glad they got a meal but a little surprised they didn’t have their own dining area.

Okay for one night but that's it. Beds are extremely uncomfortable and just awful. Not dingy but not clean either. We didn’t use the shower as it grossed us out. Breakfast is the hotel norm nothing special however there are signs that you are only allowed to eat in the Breakfast area abd not eat in your room.

The rooms are a bit dated but it’s workable. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was wonderful. I would stay again. I would have liked breakfast to be earlier but it is what it is.

Horrible. Absolutely no parking. Extremely hard to maneuver around parking lot. Especially when you have drug dealers hanging out in there cars in the dead center of the parking lot making obvious sales & blocking anybody from getting around them with how narrow the parking lot is. Another guest had there TV extremely loud to where I could hear it thru the walls (this was at mid night) and the beds are extremely hard. Super thin mattresses on metal frames then creek with any sudden movement

Very easy check in. The room was clean but the odor of the cleaner was not too good. The breakfast was very poor in quality, just the waffles maybe were decent. Definetely what I paid but I think they can do better in the kitchen.

The only thing nice was the flooring, everything else below standard. Only a 1/2 roll of toilet paper can you believe that. The pillows on the beds were terrible. I stayed at 7 hotels in the last 21 days and this was the worst. Never again

The room was not clean. The drawers were full of dirt and it was not clean all over including the bathroom. We were not able to cancel our reservation and we stayed at another hotel. So I was charged for the 2 nights in a hotel that I didn't even stay at. Very disappointed

This is budget lodging. Knowing that, my expectations are already low and I was still disappointed. The bathroom was in horrible condition, the shower walls and tub were peeling, it looks like they tried to paint it with wall paint! Shower head was moldy... as if no one ever tried to clean it. Everything in the room was decaying... the curtains were ripped and ragged. Never coming back.

I booked a two night stay for my employee. He put the do not disturb sign on the door since he was sleeping during the day. The cleaning staff came and woke him up every thirty minutes and then tried to kick him out of the room by saying he needed to check out. He kept telling them that he had the room for two days and did not need it cleaned right now. This occurred from 8 am till 11:30 am. This should not have continued to go on for so long after the first time of telling the staff.

Great choice.
Sonny the manager is very professional and welcoming. We have stayed here a few times while visiting relatives in Richmond. Pets are welcome which is important to us. The rooms are very clean and breakfast is convenient. The hotel is in the process of replacing their beds, furniture and lamps. We did not hear any noise nor experience any inconvenience from the upgrade taking place. The location cannot be beat. Plenty of choices to eat local. (Quinto Sol Mexican Grill recommendation) (Half-Way House Restaurant on Jefferson Davis is a great historic landmark with fine dining) We look forward to our next stay at LaQuinta Richmond South.

Travelled with family and small children
The hotel was not bad, basic but clean. The bed base on the hand is very noisy, every time you turned the noise was disturbing.
