You truly can’t go wrong with this stay. From the moment we booked, the owners were welcoming, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. The property sits on a charming family-owned farm that also serves as a rescue sanctuary for farm animals, which adds so much heart to the experience.The home itself is cozy, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. The hot tub was an extra bonus, perfect for soaking away the stress of the day. And the dozen fresh farm eggs waiting for us at check-in? Such a treat!The owners went above and beyond, even providing a personalized welcome newsletter with details about their farm and the surrounding area. Very family friendly, house was clean, hosts were very welcoming and friendly.I wish we could have had more time to enjoy the outdoor activities in the home. Next time, we will make sure to stay longer and not be stuck to a schedule.

Fun farm stay

We had a fun and relaxing time at this property! Jimmiesue and Jim were friendly hosts and responsive to my questions. The farm and house were just as expected and lovely places to spend time. The house was charming, clean and had everything we needed, plus lots of fun games and activities here and there. The animals were delightful, and the whole property is pretty and very well-maintained.It was quiet for sleeping (the rooster never bothered us) and the beds were very comfy. The location was convenient to Mt. St. Helens and Vancouver, WA.You will enjoy staying here, especially if you have active kids!

Fantastic House!

This was a fantastic place for us on our family's PNW adventure. The house itself was part of the experience. And it was also a gateway to some of our other adventures. Jim and Jimmiesue are fantastic hosts. My kids loved the time spent with Jimmiesue and the animals. We played lots of family games on the property. We highly recommend this house for your stay in the PNW!

This place is WONDERFUL

My family of 7 (all adults) had the best time. We had a low key, relaxing vacation that allowed us to unwind together. Jim and Jimmisue were wonderful hosts and have truly thought of every tiny amenity that a guest could need. It’s very evident a lot of consideration and experience has gone into this rental. My brother stayed in their new RV on their property to have his own space and he loved it! It was super nice and fancy! The beds were comfy, the location was relaxing, the disc golf was fun, the animals were so cute. We loved everything about this place and we’d love to stay again in the future, THANKS JIM & JIMMISUE!

We had a great stay! Jim and Jimmiesue have a beautiful home stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We enjoyed the animals, hammock, mini golf, hot tub, sauna, frisbee golf, and mini golf. They also did a great job returning messages and helping out as needed. The location and neighborhood were great as well. We definitely recommend booking with Jim and Jimmiesue!

Awesome place for family get togethers

3 of us came to the area to visit family. The hobby farm was a great place for our group of adults to gather and visit. We had 3 staying overnight and a total of 8 of us during a few days. Plenty of space indoors, outdoor under covered patio or the uncovered table area. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We also got to visit with the animals. I did not notice any animal smells around the house, but you might hear a rooster in the morning. Overall a great experience and we hope to get back.

Cute comfy stay for families

We stayed here as our “home base” for a whirlwind visit to friends and family in Portland and Washington. We weren’t there much, which we regret because there are so many things to do (bunnies! Games! Hot tubs!) on the property. Jimmy and Jimmiesue live on the property, which is nice if you have questions/needs. If you’re bringing pets or planning on having a get together, make sure you reach out to them before booking to get the details of their policies since some could feel the policies are restrictive compared to other places. We’d definitely come back but would plan more downtime at the property to take advantage of the little oasis they’ve created.

Piece of Heaven on Earth!! Amazing!!!

This is the best VRBO I have ever stayed at!! Jim and Jimmiesue are two amazing people - and feel like instant family!!! They have taken their home, and opened it up to share with renters!! It is amazing. I loved watching both of them work around the farm and take such pride in their slice of heaven!!.This house is immaculately decorated and the grounds are just as beautiful!! The Hot Tub is a perfect size for 4 people, and I used it each evening and even woke up early the last morning just to relax in it as the sun came up and listen to the Roosters crow!! ( It wont keep you up in the morning cause the windows all face the opposite direction).I will return here for years to come!!! Ive already booked a few nights again this summer with Jim and Jimmisue!!I absolutely guarantee NO ONE will be dissapointed here!! Support this wondeful couple in their golden years!!! Enjoy!!!Ian E

Sweet and serene retreat

We really enjoyed out time at this peaceful spot! After selling our home in Vancouver and the stresses of packing and moving, it was so nice to come to Jim and Jimmiesue's home while we awaited our next chapter. They were welcoming, kind, and generous. It is impeccably clean and well stocked.

Mom get away

A group of moms needed a break and this house did the trick. The home was warm and cozy, kitchen was stocked, beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had everything we needed. Overall a great place to stay.

Child’s Birthday Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hobby Farm! Our birthday girl loved feeding the goats and holding the bunnies. Our family enjoyed the varied outdoor activities including mini golf and pickle ball. There were so many fun things to try! The home was warm and inviting inside with comfortable beds and charming decor. The owners were so kind, responsive, generous, and welcoming. Overall a fun and wonderful experience!

Host are awesome! The house is so well appointed and clean, we wanted to move in!! The peace and quiet, the rescue farm animals, fresh eggs, entertainment all added to our relaxation and enjoyment. Definitely a place to gather our family for future visits.

Clean, fun stay!

This property is the best-maintained place I have stayed for sure. You can tell the owners care about the state of their property immensely. Had communication with Jimmiesue who was super kind and took the time to tell us about the animals and show us how to hold the rabbits. Overall the stay was perfect, and I would definitely go again!
