"Big room"

"We stayed at Hotel Philéas Grand Hôtel & Spa in Paris from July 26 to July 30 and had a great experience. The location was excellent, just steps from a metro station and around the corner from a main avenue full of more restaurants than we could possibly try, plus a small covered shopping arcade that was fun to explore. Many attractions were within walking distance, including the Opera House, a beautiful shopping mall, and even Sacré-Cœur, which was a longer but enjoyable walk. Everything else was only a short metro ride away. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English. They happily provided ice for our drinks in the evenings, and we appreciated being able to connect our Netflix account to the TV in our room. The rooms were small but very clean, which we understand is normal for Paris. One of the highlights was the private pool area. Each day we could book a time slot for the small pool in its own room, with a steam room and sauna just outside, which was the perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return for the great location, friendly service, and relaxing amenities."

"Very appealing decor. We had a nice stay. The staff was super nice and helpful. The lack of a coffee make or tea kettle was a surprise. This is now standard in all hotels. Also, having USB outlets will be very helpful. "

"We loved the stylish decor, enough space, cool at night for summer, the organic shops nearby, the local bars/cafes, walkable to the Seine, the latin quarter, Notre Dame, the Lourve, the Eiffel tower, Sacre Coeur (atho we walked 10 kms every day!) but still easy in every direction from the apartment. The communication before arrival was great and we were offered a driver and he was available to book if we needed transport again on our departure. We would definitively rebook and recommend for our NZ friends as we just loved it!....and of course Paris!! "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Our air conditioning made a funny noise on the first night, the staff were very considerate and moved us into another room as soon as we told them. The breakfast is the same served at expensive cafe’s locally but at a fraction of the cost, which is great. Iron and ironing board was available at request. Very close to metro and can walk to the Eiffel Tower in less than 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed. "
