“Great view, lovely cabine and the host was great. Great place for a mountain getaway.”

“Beautiful property”

“Nice, quiet and private, we sat outside and heard the birds, a few airplanes flew over now and again, but so nice and quiet. I really liked the soft bed, felt so good and slept well. My wife enjoyed the hot tub, For me, they are a waste of time. :-) but I know every one else loves them. The kitchen and living room was nice and tasteful. We wanted time to sleep, sit and read, and rest. It was great for that. I was pleasantly surprised what great food we found in Lurray. Did not take time to……

“Excellent view, nice amenities for small family and pet friendly. Recommend trying to take your time and be careful backing in to the driveway.”

“Absolutely outstanding rental experience, you can tell the hosts love providing great hospitality and have thoughtfully set up the home for a memorable stay. Cabin is well stocked, spotless, has everything you need. The views are incredible and the property is serene, private, and gorgeous. The area down by the river is a hidden gem! Appreciate the great communication and homemade cookies upon arrival. We’re already thinking about when we can come back. Thank you!”

“Nature lovers will love the Amazing property views and abundant opportunities to see wildlife. Deer, bears. Turkey were all seen while outside or viewed on the game cameras around the property from the comfort of relaxing inside and watching on the TV monitors. All aspects of our stay were above our expectations. Very clean, full kitchen with everything needed to cook inside or on grill while enjoying hot tub. Host and owners were awesome and great to communicate with . Complimentary local honey……

“Awesome spot. Very clean like new. Def worth it.”

“Thanks a lot”

“Perfect for a quick getaway. There are 3 tiny cabins on the property, but they are situated to provide privacy. Our cabin was the furthest from the river (a short walk away). The cabin is tiny, but it had what we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grill/patio.”

“Loved it. Private and quiet with a great view. Bring your 4 x 4 truck/SUV”

“The location is amazing, and the overall setting made for a nice weekend getaway. However, considering how expensive the cabin was, I expected a much higher level of cleanliness. The sheets had an unpleasant smell and did not feel fresh or newly changed, which made us uncomfortable. The exterior of the cabin also needed more attention. There were a lot of bugs and debris stuck to the outside of the glass and windows, and it looked like they had not been cleaned in quite some time. The location……

“Quiet, clean, and a beautiful location!”

“Very welcoming home. It was a great place to relax and enjoy time with our family. It served as a perfect “base camp” for hikes at Shenandoah National Park. The home owner has provided additional amenities (soap, shampoo, k-cups, games,…) which was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Being on the river was excellent, it was quiet and relaxing.”

“Super clean! Great communication! Lovely house and grounds! Would definitely stay again.”

“Beautiful, clean property in an incredible location! The host is incredibly kind and communicative. Endless entertainment for the whole family (kids and pets included)! We truly couldn’t ask for more! We plan to return yearly for our summer getaway!”
