1930's Stone Cottage with spectacular views!
- Enjoy a piece of history, this stone house was built in the 1930's. One of three that were part of Rimrock Ranch Bar Lazy-R, a "dude ranch" where VIPs and movie stars would stay as they were filming westerns in the Sedona area or relaxing. In the 60’s it was Mobster getaway hiding spot. The stone house sits elevated on a hillside with overlooking panoramic views of forestry land, local homes & farms, with scenic pinions.

Absolutely one of the best finds I have had the opportunity to experience. From start to finish. I recommend any and everyone check this place out. Great view, great vibe, lots of history (of the town) located on the shelf. It was just very accommodating / satisfying. Amazing stone cottage
We only stayed for one night but the owner is extremely friendly and hospitable! This is such a lovely comfortable place to stay. You cannot beat the views! We even got to see the farm animals! Thank you for having us and hope to stay again next year!

Rustic retreat with beautiful views
I had a nice long stay at Joe’s little mountaintop farm. The views across the desert are awesome, and the cottage is a sweet little place to stay. Joe and all of his animals are very friendly and hospitable.

Beautiful historic ranch
This place has enough so all you need are to pack clothes and food. The host is knowledgable of the area and friendly. It's a nice break from Phoenix heat and higher elevation is further up the road.

I absolutely loved staying here. The cottage was perfect and a lovely retreat. The fires at night were absolutely amazing. Love the location and a special shout-out to both Joe and Kyle. Joe has such a deep appreciation for the history and both were so passionate about the animals and what they were doing! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Very relaxing
Had a great time staying at the stone cottage. It was so nice to unplug, sit in front of the fireplace at night and just relax. The farm animals are really fun and the fresh eggs are amazing. The location is close enough to get to Sedona to enjoy the trails and amenities but not have to deal with the crowds. We'll definitely be back!
