Better than the pictures, if you can believe it

This place is nothing short of stunning. I know the pictures make it seem like a paradise, but I really did not want to go home afterwards. It has all the amenities you could ask for and is walking distance to several beaches and bars. Craig is a great and responsive. Can't wait to go back.

Relaxing Vacation in a Beautiful Town

The house is about a 2 hour drive from San Juan but is easily accessible to the surrounding beaches and attractions. Me and my family had a great time in Rinco. The house was incredible. Very peaceful neighborhood. The host was very responsive and kind. No issues with the house at all. With a beautiful view over the ocean, it was a great place to stay for our family vacation.

Where to begin. Your home is beautiful inside and out. There was enough room for the family to move around. The pool is a great addition. Especially during those hot days. Puerto Rican Perfection

We traveled as 3 families (teenagers and adults). First, we all rented vehicles so the location in Rincón makes it easy to get to many local beaches: Domes, Steps, Sandy & Black Eagle, the restaurants, grocers and shopping. Second, everything about the functionality and layout of the house is perfect. The views off the top terrace, the covered patio area below it, the well stocked kitchen, filtered water, and quality appliances, the pool, plentiful bath and pool towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. Finally, the host happened to be visiting in the adjacent 2-bedroom casita, which is great if you need to rent more space. He was gracious and left coconuts for us, freshly harvested coconut water from his property, and provided lots of recommendations of places to go and things to see at the house, including the Thursday night art walk where local artisans set up. The lighthouse serves enormous mojitos and also has a beautiful sunset. We all fell in love with Rincón and this spectacular house. We can’t wait to get back when the surf is high.

Perfect Family Vacation!

We had an unforgettable stay at The Surf Break in Rincon! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the welcoming atmosphere. The home is impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every amenity we could possibly need. We especially loved the open main floor plan with the kitchen conveniently adjacent to the cozy living room with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, each with AC, ensuring we all had restful nights. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor space. The rooftop patio has breathtaking views. There’s literally not a place in all of PR for a better sunset view! Two patios off the master and the large patio off the main living space was great for enjoying morning coffee while taking in the views. The pool area was wonderful, equipped with comfortable lounge chairs and plenty of shade. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like beach chairs, games, & coolers that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect – secluded enough to offer peace and tranquility, yet close to local attractions and amenities. We enjoyed exploring the nearby trails and visiting the charming town just a short drive away. Overall, this Vrbo rental exceeded our expectations on every level!

LOVED our stay at the SURFBREAK

Absolutely loved our stay a the Surf Break. The accommodations are very comfortable, relatively new and updated. The premise was clean when we got there, had EVERY possible pot, pan, and utensil in the kitchen. The patio furniture was fantastic and made the stay a great indoor/outdoor experience. My only tip is to clean dishes well before they go in the dishwasher.

Surfers Paradise

This property was beautiful! It was spotless when we checked in. The owner was available to answer any questions we had during our stay. The location was close to surfing beaches and swimming beaches so everyone staying with me was happy. The pool was also a nice option to have when everyone was "beached out". The views from the to deck were breathtaking! We will definitely be staying here for our next trip to Puerto Rico!

The Surf Break is the best

Craig's house is the best house in the area. I brought may family and daughter's boyfriend for a surfing Christmas holiday vacation and this will be our house for many Christmas' in the future. The house is set up perfectly and offers modern luxury and comfort for the entire family. The owner's directions and recommendations for surfing, eating, and activities were spot on and house is everything the pictures show.

This property was absolutely amazing. We brought our family and friends to stay here for the week and their were 9 of us and we were never stepping on anyone’s toes! The pool was refreshing after a long day and the views were absolutely amazing! There were lots of towels beach chairs and snorkel gear for all of us to enjoy and having two washers and dryers was amazing. This is our second time to the island in a year and this house definitely topped our last house.

Wow! The view!!

Our stay at the Surfbreak was incredible! Everything we could have wanted was supplied by the owner in order for us to have a wonderful vacation. Craig is very thorough and easily accessible if needed. The location is perfect with very close proximity to the best beaches as well as great bars and restaurants. The view from the rooftop is perfection!! Morning coffee and evening cocktails were requirements from there every day to enjoy the view! Thanks for sharing your home and a great vacation!!

Everything we wanted it to be!

Wake up every day and be greeted by beautiful views of Rincon lighthouse, Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean on the other side. Room for our large family. We cooked, hung out on the many balconies that are available. House was beautiful inside and out and very safe. Close to beaches, downtown Rincon, lots of bars and restaurants close. My son, his girlfriend and my niece all learned to surf just down the road. We are already talking about renting again soon. Wonderful family vacation.

Our Hosts Thought of Everything

This was by far the nicest accommodation and experience we have had with VRBO. Our hosts thought of everything when they prepared this beautiful residence for vacationers. From the pool in the garden to the roof top deck, the accommodations were top notch. Our party of 7 adults had plenty of space and the villa provided space to gather as a group and areas for solitude and privacy when desired. The villa was well stocked with appliances and equipment. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available for use, it featured a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable up to date furniture provided a homey feel. Beautiful art in the form of wooden engraved paintings and art glass throughout added to the welcoming and crisp clean decor. The wine cooler was a nice touch and the magnetic screens made for easy access to the living room deck. Overall this was a great experience and it is highly recommended for a large family or group of friends.

Perfect vacation rental

Four of us rented this unit for a week in February 2013. We had a great experience. The home is very spacious, comfy and clean. There are ceiling fans and AC units throughout. Balconies and roof decks with gorgeous views of the ocean on both sides of the house. There is a beach within walking distance. There are lots of restaurants nearby, including some within walking distance and a bakery/shop within site of the front door. The pool (looks tiny in the pictures but is actually a decent size) is great for relaxing at the end of the day. The owner was courtesy and helpful in every way. They provided everything you could think of needing for a vacation at the beach and handled the rental process professionally. My partner and I travel quite a bit and almost always do rentals through VRBO - this was one of our best experiences to date. Check out the owner's website for more details on the home. With regards to the area - if you've only stay on the east side of the island or in San Juan, you're missing out. The west offers a different experience and there's lots to do. Camuy Caves are a short drive away, there are beautiful beaches to the south in Cabo Rojo, and in Parguera to the south there are mangrove islands off the coast where you can boat and swim. We had a wonderful time and we highly recommend both the area and the home.

Fantastic property!

Our family (there were 7 of us in total-ranging in age from 68 to 7) stayed at this property for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time! Prior to our arrival we were in contact with the owner several times, not only regarding information about the home, but also information about recreation, restaurants, the community, etc. He was very knowledgable and sent a wealth of information about the beaches, restaurants, night life, and anything else we would need to have a fun, comfortable stay well in advance of our arrival and was great about answering any specific questions we had in a timely manner. The home was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed--a full kitchen with extra amenities such as a wine fridge, awesome blender, etc; lots of towels-both for showers and also the pool/beach; LOTS of seating; balconies with amazing views; ceiling fans and air conditioners in every room; 4 bathrooms (3 with huge showers); a fantastic pool area; outdoor showers for rinsing off when returning from the beach; a rooftop balcony grill; and beach amenities such as chairs, coolers, and beach toys for our children. The home felt very safe-completely secured by gates/locks and monitored by security cameras outside the property. The house is in a great location-minutes from a number of great beaches and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. Though we didn't need them, a high chair and pack n' play were stowed in a closet for those traveling with babies/toddlers. The property has WIFI and cable TV which was very convenient to have. The house also has a back-up generator which proved handy while we were there as the power went out for nearly a day. Our experience staying at this property was awesome and I would highly recommend it to any type of traveler, from adventure seekers to families with children, young or old! We would love to come back and stay when the surf is up!

Living Large in Rincon

My family of 4 stayed for 10 days, the first 4 nights two other families joined us. One family of 5 stayed in the house with us and the other family of 4 stayed in the apartment. There was plenty of space, bathrooms, towels…all the things you worry there won’t be enough of with that many people. The house is stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and a full kitchen. The screens on the doors were nice to keep those pesky mosquitos out and once I found the vacuum we kept the sand under control. I must say the house felt very safe with the gates however I found the locks tricky for the first few days…once I understood it, there was no issue. Once our friends left, the house did feel a little too large for just the 4 of us. Having our kids downstairs in the bunk room while the master is on the main level was fine for us but might not be for every family. The rooftop deck is AMAZING but did get too dark to have dinner up there once the sun went down. The afternoon breeze is so nice and the pool was perfect for after beach swims. I’ve already told a few people about this great house and Craig was so easy to communicate with.
