“Went there with my husband and another couple for a 5 night stay. Location was great, right off Rabbit Ears and easy to get to. The house was clean with many comfy beds. House needs some work especially the deck which was very old. Half the patio furniture was broken but we made it work. It lacked essentials most other rentals provide such as seasonings, enough dish soap paper towels, laundry detergent. It is only 20 minutes from downtown Steamboat and Stagecoach State park and 30 to Strawberry……

“We were challenged with several failures of old mechanical equipment and fixtures during our stay but that is somewhat expected in an old cabin. The owners reacted quickly and did everything they could to try and make us comfortable. Even though the structure was in need of repairs, the property and setting is beautiful and hard to match. We will definitely be back for a future stay once repairs are complete.”

"Overall it's not bad. The room is big. It seems to have been partially renovated a while ago. Except for the carpet and cabinets which are a bit old, the walls are new and the towels are very white. The room rate is about $90. I really want to give them 4.5 stars, but the parking fee is $14, which is more than the $10 a day fee next to the Denver airport, and you have to sign to pay, which gives people a bad impression. When I booked on Expedia, it was marked as including breakfast, but later I found out that I had to order it on site for $15. Overall, it is worth staying here for a total price of about $100."
