WiFi was very on and off and relied heavily upon 4g. Once the roomservice was not complete, wich left us without towels for a day, and we didn't get towels even after we asked for them.

We booked this hotel on our last day in Rio for one night. This hotel was located walking distance across from the Copacabana beach. It had a mildly clean room but outdated. They had a very simple and not a very appetizing free breakfast as it looked like the food was old. A very poor rooftop pool, more like a bathtub. However, we only enjoyed the scenery of the beach of which you could view from the rooftop. We also noticed that the bedsheet had what looked like blood stains at the bottom of which was disturbing to us as we thought the sheets are to be changed completely once a guest checks out for the new guest. This hotel was good for only a one-night stay.

The hotel does not clean the rooms very well. The towels are old and the sheets are torn. When you arrive, if you need to store your bags, they will charge you for storing them. They do not have an iron or ironing service. The breakfast is the same every day. The TV never worked. The only good thing was the location and the employees at the reception. In general the experience was terrible, we had to change to another hotel and them took a long time to resolve it.

The room wasn’t clean and was full of sand when we first arrived. No blankets in the room, no iron, no hairdryer… Not even shower soap. The room didn’t have a view and it wasn't mention on the reservation. We were facing AC machines. My mom arrived to see my kids, but they didn’t allow her into the bedroom or on the rooftop so we could open the presents, etc. We needed to stay in the lobby amehile the kids were open the presents. There was a construction happening on the hotel rooftop, which was very loud, starting at 9am sharp. No warning was given about that, not when we booked, not when we called the hotel to confirm our check-in time, and not even when we checked in at the reception. Staff was kind and polite. Breakfast was good but again, small saloon and crowded. Location is good and that's it.

Easily one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. Old, dirty, stains and holes in sheets, smells, bugs, some of the staff was rude, put us in a room up a flight of stairs with no elevator access. Could easily list at least 5 more things wrong with this hotel. Fortunately we only booked this to hold us over from checking out at the hotel we stayed in for the week and our 11pm flight. If I was truly intending to stay overnight I would’ve just ate the cost and booked another room. If you’re thinking about booking JUST DONT DO IT!!!!

Interiors are very dirty, bedsheets were not clean, mattress quality bad, bathrooms need major uplift, and everything looks dirty. The sole saving grace is the location. I recommend to look for other places to stay

After reading several reviews here, and knowing this property is at Av. Atlantica, or literally across the street from Copacabana Beach, I was really excited. Unfortunately m expectations fell really short as I arrived at the lobby. The hotel is dated and the staff could have been a bit more friendlier on check-in. They asked us to fill one form for each guest, gave us 2 keys and briefly told us about the WiFi password and breakfast time. As we arrived at our floor and later entered our room, we were definitely not impressed - and we were given an ocean view unit. Don't take me wrong - it wasn't terrible. We could see Copacabana beach from our window and that was great, but I wouldn't give this hotel more than 3 stars. The room looked clean and was organized, but the walls were dirty and stained. The bathroom also had stains that look moldy at the top of the shower and in multiple other corners. Also, after we turned the shower lights off, it would continue blinking all night long. They put us on the 1st floor and it was really noisy. WiFi was slow and would sometimes disconnect, but was usable. Breakfast was included and food at the restaurant was OK. Again, not great. The juices were very watered, for instance. To summarize, if you go there expecting a 3-star hotel, you will be fine. But if you go like us expecting an "Excellent" hotel as rated here, you will end up disappointed.
