It does what it says - super close to the airport (it is in the now mothballed terminal 1), so convenient place to rest your head for an early flight. Rooms are basic and have no windows, but clean. Shuttle is efficient or you can walk for 10 minutes

You cannot stay any closer to the Rio airport.

You cannot stay any closer to the airport. The hotel is part of Terminal 1 that was converted to a hotel. It was sufficient but very basic. But fine for an overnight stay with an early flight the next day. The only caution is that all of the outlets are 220 volt, so I did not use any of them the night I was there.

WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER !!!

It was AWFUL !!! First, it was impossible to find. It’s located in the old Terminal One building of GIG, Rio’s international airport. There are no signs on the building telling you there is a hotel inside. Once you’re in the building, the old airport terminal, there are no signs directing to the hotel. There were three men and a woman checking people in. The men were rude and the single woman did all the work. The male reception staff ignore customers, even to the point of walking away when customers came up to the counter. We were charged an extra $50 for a second person and $30 for parking. You have to pay the parking at a kiosk in the basement, AGAIN with no directions how to get there. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER !!!
