"It was our first time travelling to Rio, it took us 3/4 days of research to find a great hotel with a great price. This hotel delivered it! Although Barra da Tijuca is further away from the touristic area, it’s definitely worth the extra transportation time. The ocean is cleaner and the beaches less crowded, and most important, a lot more safe! The staff at the hotel was amazing, great service and care. Specially at dinner, the server named Willian was awesome! "

"The hotel is in an excellent position, right on Copacabana beach. It has a very old fashioned feel about it and could definitely do with a spruce up. The room felt dark but everything worked and it was perfectly acceptable. The breakfast choice was good and so was the service. The provision of beach towels was a bonus. The pool is very small. The roof bar is lovely although on occasion it was frequented by large groups of families or loud Americans which really spoilt it. If groups were...

"Everything was good until after checkout. Without notice, they sent me an email receipt charging us for the room a second time. I had already paid Hotels.com in full for the two days, back on July 5, 2023. I checked my credit card statement to verify payment. However Florida Windsor said they never received the payment. So now, I've paid twice, plus Hotel.com's service fee."
