it is now Radisson which I dont expect such a poor maintenance.
I stayed in 7 floor, corridor carpet was wet, leakage of water from ceiling
but it least they have a bucket to collect the water.
will not stay this hotel again

My wife and I had reservations from March 19-21st at Wyndham Rio Barra. I paid 238.21 plus a fee for using the pool/beach.
The issue was with check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm. We understood we were early. We did a precheck in and was told to return at 3pm and the room would be ready and we’d get the room keys. We go eat and return at 3:30pm.
We’re told by the front desk the room is not ready yet. We’re asked to sit in the lobby and the room would be ready in about 10 mins. I asked if there was another room they could put us in? The response was “we can’t put you in a different room. Naturally I’m a bit annoyed. So I asked if they would be discounting the room at all since it was not ready? They said a manager would need to approve that and they were unavailable for the next 30-40 mins. So we are asked again to sit and wait in the lobby. I asked the front desk to let the manager know I was not happy with the checkin process and wanted to them also to inquire about the discount.
Another 15-20 mins pass and I return again to ask about any update. The room was still not ready. Finally about 5 mins later were called over to the front desk and were given our keys. Over an hour had passed from the original checkin time of 3pm. I asked the staff what the manager said about discounting the room for the checkin inconveinence and here is what I was told the manager said…”checkin starts at 3pm and there was nothing they could do.”
Terrible mgmt. Stay elsewhere.

So, in a previous post about the towels…. That was true. They took the towels in cleaning and did not leave towels for us to use. Besides that, we completely enjoyed our stay and would return. I enjoyed my conversations with employees there, Alek at the front instantly eased our fears about the language barrier and was very helpful. Would love to Thank him again!
