Propre, fonctionnel et en plein cœur de ville. Découverte d’une belle région et logement très central pour visiter les villages typiques aux alentours.Propriétaire très réactif.Mériterait peut-être une meilleure insonorisation de la fenêtre du salon.Nous reviendrons !

Verblijf goed en in orde, maar....het woningnummer 17 staat niet op de voorgevel van het gebouw....Niemand kon ons met zekerheid nummer 17 aanduiden...er stond geen enkele aanduiding naar de gite L'Ecrin, tenzij is door de zon 'afgeschenen' naam tussen drie of vier namen onder elkaar naast de bel. Zelfs de dienst Toerisme, 50 m van de gite verwijderd, kende de gite niet.Ik had van de eigenaar begrepen dat hij ons om 16 uur zou opwachten, maar alles bleek plots te werken met 2 codes om eerst in het gebouw te geraken en nadien in het verblijf zelf. Die info werd ons pas gestuurd tijdens de reis, niet erg lang voor onze aankomst. Dat was wel een zeer slecht punt!

Der Ort ist wunderschön und die Unterkunft sowie die Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter ist hervorragend. Die Parkplatzsituation ist allerdings katastrophal. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind nicht vorhanden. Dauergäste müssen für eine Parkkarte €3,50/Tag bezahlen was auch zumutbar wäre. Allerdings ist das keine Garantie für einen Parkplatz. Durch die hohe Zahl an Tagesgästen ist es von ca. 9:00Uhr bis ca. 17:00Uhr unmöglich einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Séjour idéal

Gîte idéal pour un couple. Literie excellente, salle de bain complète et spacieuse, pièce à vivre avec l'indispensable et très agréable avec vue sur le rue centrale et sur les vignes. Situé au 1er étage en plein centre de Riquewihr. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la situation nous permet de découvrir l'ambiance de Riquewihr: calme et sereine avant 10h et après 21h et vivante avec l'arrivée des touristes. Très bon isolation acoustique des fenêtres. Parking gratuit à 500m du gîte par les petites rues magnifiques. Nous sommes enchantés de notre semaine et conseillerons la location.

Location Location Location

Being able to stand in the Gite and lean out the window right into the Main Street of Riquewihr was something out of a fairy tale. The room is very nice, well equipped, beds were comfortable. There is a very steep interior staircase leading up to the second floor, for which I had to keep a close eye on my toddler but the keypad access was very convenient and like I said the location is unbeatable. Being able to be out in the village and dawn and dusk was really nice and you can avoid a lot of crowds, plus you get to feel like a local.

Appartement bien équipé avec du matériel de qualité. Bien situé dans le village. Un seul bémol le bruit des camions frigorifiques assez tôt le matin . Bon accueil de la propriétaire.

Cottage "the Jewel" is truly a jewel in Riquewihr! Fédéric responded to my questions before our visit within a few hours and his wife Florence met us when we arrived. The apartment is located on the main street with wonderful views of the street and the vines on the slopes above. The bedroom has two beds, the bathroom is big with a good shower, a washing machine and even an iron! Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was well stocked. Riquewihr is ideally located on the route des vins and it's loaded with charm. There are many restaurants and each of our meals was excellent. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Riquewihr! Note that there are about 20 steps up to the apartment, so it's not suited for people with mobility issues. Thank you, Fédéric and Florence for a wonderful three days!

Wunderschöner Urlaub an einem wunderschönen Ort

Mein Mann und ich verbrachten eine Woche in diesem gemütlichen Appartement mitten im wunderschönen Riquewihr! Es war toll dem bunten Treiben aus dem Fenster zuzusehen. In dem Appartement hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir nutzen Riquewihr zudem als Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Ausflüge nach Straßburg, Colmar, den wunderbaren Orten ringsum, den Berg La Hohneck und Wanderungen durch die Weinberge. Man muss sich allerdings bewusst sein, dass in diesem kleinen Ort immer sehr viele Touristen durch die Gassen strömen. Uns hat das nicht gestört. Es gibt außerdem kein deutsches Fernsehen in der Wohnung. (Wir konnten jedoch unser IPad mit dem Fernseher verbinden.)
