El cuarto no estaba en tan buenas condiciones lucia como que lo construyeron y no lo terminaron ,no se ve acogedor ,el baño no tenía ni donde poner el jabón o el shampoo,acepto que si lo limpiaban bien pero igual no se veía bien con las imperfecciones de construcción especialmente en el baño . La música en la playa Reguetón a toda hora una playa tan hermosa deberían de poner música para todos más teniendo clientes extranjeros y más para descansar,en la noche sería diferente,los chicos hacen lo que pueden para entretener a los huéspedes. La comida estaba bien y la playa preciosa solo que cuando una nada ve mucha basura por dentro como plásticos,:( Lo otro llegan unos jet ski y estábamos en el kajack y empezaron a dar vueltas casi nos tumban estoy de acuerdo que sean clientes pero que tengan cuidado en la playa con los que están en el agua . En fin la playa lo merece todo el lugar es maravilloso para aprovecharlo le deseo suerte con las reformas que le están haciendo en general

Room was better than I expected for the price and food the same. Rained quite a bit while we were there but I can’t blame the hotel for that. Snorkeling was the best I’ve ever experienced. Resort is on a great chunk of the best land in Honduras. They are trying to renovate it but it’ll take some time to bring it up to anything but a three star resort

The people at the front desk were NOT friendly at all. We did not feel welcome from the first day which is a shame. However, I want to mention ALEXANDRO, he was the only one who helped us in everyway he could. He was very kind to us and always willing to help. About the food. there were'nt too many options , most of them were pork. (we dont eat pork) Unfortunately the weather did not help. It rained a lot. Overall. I give it 3 starts. beacuse the bach is beautiful. I hope they train the front desk staff so that guests feel like coming back. For now, we will not be returning. Thank you

Fantasy island is not a Fantasy. Our room had no hot water. Our beds were sinked in, very old. They do not give you a blanket you get a sheet instead. They are re-constructing the main entrance, and it's messy. The location is old and needs big improvement. It wasn't a Fantasy at all. The employees are not trained, they look dazed out and not focus. They do not know how to client service at all. I wouldn't come back or bring anyone that knows about quality, and client experience. They have lots of potential but need 200% improvements. Lastly the food was okay, and drinks are your cheap happy drinks.

The room was very out dated, NO HOT WATER THE ENTIRE TRIP, we told the manager several times but it never was fixed. Room was dirty. Do not let the online pics fool you!! They are renovating the resort at this time but only the lobby and dining area.

The room was near the beach but the resort is in poor condition. The toilet didn’t flush. Some areas of the resort smells. The property is old there was holes in the door of my hotel and mosquitoes was in there all the time. I couldn’t sleep because of the construction early morning next to my room and the staff at the front desk is not friendly. I wouldn’t return.

If I could have chosen a negative zero I would have. DO NOT stay here. The resort smells like a septic tank, the food is not edible, the rooms are gross and the staff does not smile. Maybe they just don’t like Americans I don’t know. Regardless, stay clear of this one, there’s plenty others to choose from.

La propiedad esta super descuidada, ofrecen algo que no es, engañando al consumidor (marketing engañoso), la comida super básica, las camas en pésimo estado al igual que los baños. No lo recomendamos especialmente si va con familia (niñas y niños), las personas dejan la basura tirada en la playa, piscinas y todos lados demostrando su pésima educación y la carencia en el lugar es evidente

Solo regresaría porque está cerca de mi sitio de trabajo… mala comida, su concepto de una Pepsi de dieta es ponerle más soda a una Pepsi normal, empleados atendían con mal humor, hasta era incómodo pedirles asistencia con algo. En el comedor debo hacer mención que los mesero es eran muy amables y atentos, el resto del hotel para nada.

Deceptive Advertising and Zero Customer Support Fantasy Island Resort is grossly misrepresented online. The photos on the website are deceptive and do not reflect the actual condition of the property. The roads are in poor shape, the surroundings are unattractive, and there was a strong, unpleasant odor upon arrival that made the location feel unclean and unwelcoming. Customer service was completely unhelpful. We immediately raised our concerns and requested a refund, which was flatly refused without any effort to resolve the situation. Because the conditions were unacceptable, we chose not to stay and left after 30 minutes. This was a waste of money and time. The lack of honesty in advertising and refusal to take responsibility is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this resort. Internet service 0.5% in the location (wifi) I didn't receive help to cancel for Fantasy Island staff either Expedia, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, just waste my money.

No shuttle showed up at the airport to pick us up upon arrival.When we called we were informed we would have to pay $15 US per person and they asked if we even had reservations.(There were four of us for two weeks in two rooms) We grabbed a cab instead that cost us half of the price .Upon arrival, the whole front entrance was under construction and not very easy to maneuver to get into or find the front desk.We were not greeted in a friendly manner informed our rooms would not be close to each other, which was OK, but we assumed there would be phones in the room so we could connect No phones. One of our rooms contained only a bed. No table , no chairs inside or on the balcony. The air-conditioning occasionally did not work, The electrical wires were all crossed so you never knew what was going to come on when you turned on a switch. The variety of food awful and we are NOT picky eaters, We purchased our own pancake syrup so we could at least have syrup with our pancakes or French toast in the mornings. The smell of sewage was unbearable. We had no hot water and were told they were “working on it”. There was no swim up bar It was a nasty construction zone.

Las instalaciones están bien, las están remodelando. La comida está muy bien no tengo ningún pero en ese aspecto, solo tengo un apunte, yo llevé mi carro propio al hotel al principio me decían que tenía que pagar el parking que eran 15$ por día que no estaba incluido sin embargo luego de mostrarles que en mi reserva si estaba incluido decidieron en querer cobrarlo, al día siguiente el carro me amanecio con una llanta sin aire pense que había paso en el transcurso de llegada al hotel, pero no, llevé el carro a un profesional para reparar la llanta y al momento de encontrar el pinchazo no había ningún pinchazo la llanta estaba en buen estado, como dicen piensa mal y acertarás. Fuera de eso todo bien.

The room had great air conditioning but our safe didn’t work so we ended up getting the master key, our toilet wouldn’t flush for the first part so we had to get maintenance as the door to the bathroom knob kept coming off.

The property was dirty, there was trash everywhere when exploring the island. There were broken pieces of our patio laying on the ground. There was tons of trash in the bushes right outside our patio. There was construction going on from 7am-midnight (but I’m pretty sure they worked throughout the entirety of the night). When it was raining so much from the hurricane, we stayed in our room as there wasn’t much else to do on the resort, other than outdoor activities, we literally listened to power tools and hammering ALL DAY AND NIGHT! I went on vacation to relax not be overstimulated by all the noises of construction. There was no hint at all that construction would be going on. Especially right above our room the whole time. The food and drinks made both of us sick. I was sick the whole time. I found a cockroach in our bathroom when I was l puking. We decided 3 days in to end our 7 day stay and we relocated to a different resort in Roatan where we had a MUCH better experience. The little gift shop wasn’t open during all of the hours it said it would be so we had to pay extra money to get a ride to a gas station so I could find some relief from being so severely sick the entire stay there. I puked starting from the first meal I had there and still I am dealing with the repercussions from whatever made me sick there. Currently sitting in the doctors office back home to get down to the bottom of it. I was LESS than impressed to say the least. I will never again stay there.

This was right off our room patio… and it looked like this all over the place.

This is what we looked at while we were attempting to eat food in the dining hall. I get that some stuff will be laying around due to construction and I get the construction to make updates. But there was trash everywhere.
