The staff was amazing. They all went above and beyond to make the experience awesome! Shout out to Michael on the front desk helping us with the activities. If you like a calm place to stay but surrounded with activities, restaurants and a beautiful beach.

We came through the shuttle service they offer, they picked us up along with another party in a close flight. We had a king size room near the entrance, it was very clean and the showers were walk in nice. It was very spacious and the staff was excellent, they helped in every way. Breakfast is open at 7:40 and the stores and restaurants around about 10am so plan ahead. Overall amazing stay will come back

La Placita is great. You have to walk a short distance for the pool and the beach, but that was ok with us. Edward who works in the restaurant was there from our previous visit and he is great! Many of the staff were still there from our previous visit! They are all so friendly! We will be back!

Overall we really liked it there. We stayed in the Junior Suite overlooking the plaza and had a nice balcony. The walls in the bathroom were noticeably dirty and had drips down them and need a good cleaning. Everything else was clean, that part was just noticeable as where the toilet is you really see the walls close to you. The staff were all really nice.

We had an amazing stay and a personalized service! We arrange all activities and transport with Angel and it was perfect! It’s close to the beach, the plaza offers very good lobsters and king crab plates and the breakfast are delicious! We highly recommend!

Excelente servicio, atención y ubicación. No hay mucho por hacer dentro del hotel excepto el uso de la piscina y comer en la placita de lugares que esta contiguo al hotel. El desayuno 💯 y la atencion del personal Excelente 👌

We had a fantastic stay at La Placita. The breakfast was delicious with great variety and fresh options every morning
The location is perfect: many restaurants and shops are super close, and the beach is just a short walk away.
The staff was exceptional, especially Kimberly, who was always smiling, helpful, and made our stay extra special.
Highly recommended! I’ll definitely return

Clean room and property, mostly friendly staff, and not a bunch of rude guests like most bigger resorts. It's not on the beach which we knew going into it, but not a far walk to the Mayan beach or pool. There were never any beach chairs avaliable but really didn't bother us. Breakfast was decent and the young man working in there was extremely polite and friendly. If you're looking for a 5 star resort on the beach this isn't it, but it's a nice resort with a "small town" feel. We moved to Infinity Bay after this and while it was more upscale, I'd definitely come back here before returning to Infinity Bay. Overall a great stay

This is great value. The hotel isn't very big but with the Placita (the small square) just outside, and the pool and beach just across the small parking lot, it was very conveniently located. I had no issues whatsoever. The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable. There are events in the evening in the Placita, so if you go to bed before 9pm and you're sensitive to noise, you may want a more isolated place. But if you like having things like live music or karaoke a few steps away, then you'll love this place.

We were very happy with our choice of La Placita. We read lots of reviews to help make our choice...selling point for us were the pool we got to use at La Serenis which was literally steps away from La Placita lobby and that we got to use lounge chairs at La Sirenas included with staying at La Placita. Staff were very helpful. The included daily breakfast was excellent, and we loved the location so close to many reataurants and the beach. If you are worried about not being directly on the beach...don't! We've had to walk further when staying at an all inclusive resort than we did when staying at La Placita. A fabulous stay! We will be back :)
