Come and relax at this peaceful cabin at prairie lake lodge. With a view of the lake, 18 hole golf course 2 mins away and beautiful hiking trails. In the winter there’s ice fishing, snowmobiling and 10 mins away from the Asessippi ski hill. It’s the perfect place for any occasion.

Prairie Lake House, Dropmore – 5 stars.Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet, close to the water with a nice view; 25 min (mostly) flat drive to Russell for our 8-day convention. Beds good, kitchen has everything, Wi-Fi solid (fast Starlink!). Deck breakfast and two, large Roku TV's for screen casting for work and sharing media with friends and entertainment. Host answers fast, no surprises. For pickle ball lovers: free, just drop-in, includes equipment, Tuesday and Thursday games, evenings from 7-9pm in Roblin, a 15 minute drive north! Perfect mix of handy and peaceful; we’ll book again next time our travels include this area.

10/10 recommend. We stayed for 5 days with my family and my parents and it was fantastic. Our weather didn’t cooperate much but the cabin was very spacious and is stocked with games and stuff so we still had a great time on the rainy days. Basically every home amenity you could think of is stocked there so you don’t have to do any of the thinking there and if you need anything Roblin has a beautiful coop about 10 minutes drive away to grab anything you would need. The beach is small but nice for kids and the water is nice. Fishing was good. We didn’t bring our bug boat this trip because of the weather but would next time and this trip just used our fishing boat and it was good. Golfing right there was convenient and a great course that my family utilized. The hosts always answered messaged immediately and were very helpful. Super comfy beds and linens and very clean place. Looking forward to our ski trip here in Feb!

Family Cabin ski trip

A fantastic stay for our weekend ski trip at Asessippi. Wonderful host and hospitality. The cabin had everything we needed (plus some). Beds were very comfortable. And the games were a nice touch. Super clean and tidy. Watching the sunsets through the big windows was nice too. Hope to be back again soon! Thank you.

Wonderful Experience

We stayed for a ski trip to Asessippi with 4 adults and 3 kids (15, 6 and 4). The property was perfect for all of us. Host was very quick with responses to any questions. It was super cold out so Asessippi was closed at some point of our stay but none of us minded as we were very comfortable hanging out in the cabin all day. Highly recommend and we hope to be back again soon! Beds were all super comfy which gave us all great sleeps!
