My first choice for a hotel room now. Room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and full breakfast was excellent. What more could I ask for!

There were stains on the curtains and pillow cases, there was food left in the fridge. Kind of sad we were tired and did not complain to staff. I probably will not stay there again. There was tape over the elevator buttons and people were randomly drinking in the lobby In a place were the competition is high you would think they would be a higher station and professional level. There was incense burning in the lobby to cover the smell of weed .

Don't stay here if you have high to average expectations for what a hotel should be. This property is in serious need of some TLC. Our room was dirty and run down. The elevator button on the 4th floor had a cover plate that was too small, so you could see the wires behind on one side, and the plate was taped onto the wall on the other side. Our lamp shades were dirty, one lamp was broken, the curtains were filthy, there was a crack in the ceiling, and the walls were dirty. Our room was advertised as sleeping 7 on Expedia, but it only slept 6. The desk attendant said they didn't have any cots, and the room only slept 6. A lot of the dryers in the laundry room were marked "out of order" and our dryer was stealing our quarters. The desk attendant ended up putting an "out of order" sign on our dryer as well.

I did not use the gym, but again the heater in the room was very noisy hard to sleep, and then the heater would stop working and only blow cold air, I had to shut the heater off for a while turn it back on. And then the TV went out so I was about a day without the TV and the breakfast was not very good

Breakfast was at 7am on weekends. Wish that was up front sonce we had wrestling tournaments for 2 days and all familys had to leave before both days. Said 6am when booking Cable and internet was out 1st night. Most likely find somewhere else next time

found a tv remote ubder the bed which tells me nobody looked under there as there was one. now there are 2. not the best handiwork in the room. the headboard was visibly crooked and the door was not squared so had to make sure it was clised fully as it wouldn't on its own.

The staff were somewhat friendly. The place is getting run down and in serious need of upkeep and detailing. The hot tub jets weren’t working and there was no sign it would be repaired. The pool rest room is “out of order” and appears to have been that way for some time. The breakfast was minimal, no change from day to day and just not very good compared to another LaQuinta I just visited. Hand-written signs on doors just look lazy. The lobby has an unpleasant odor to it. Chipped paint, rusty vent grates and damaged trim everywhere that needs attention. It could be a nice place again but it needs serious attention to detail.

I stayed here while having medical appointments at Mayo Clinic. There were many issues. -Room phone didn't work. -Front desk didn't have change available to use in the laundry room. -None of the washers or dryers worked anyway. -The sign on each machine said "out of order" -Room was not cleaned/stocked daily. I had to go to the front desk to request clean towels. -The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet which was problematic. -English was a second language for almost all of the employees. One exception was the very helpful front desk lady who I was very appreciative of. -The continental breakfast was minimal and rushed. They had a strict time of opening and closing the room. -They also did NOT honor the cancellation policy as stated on their Expedia ad. I ended up paying for a room for several days that I was in the hospital. Avoid La Quinta... -The Expedia ad listed the hotel as "pet friendly" -The sign at the front desk said "No pets allowed." Expedia wasn't helpful with any of my concerns either. Unfortunately Expedia lets their Hotels make false/misleading statements on their search engine. This is disappointing as I used to be an Expedia fan but now will find an alternate travel site to book my travel. -I recommend avoiding Expedia and finding a different travel site.

For what we paid, this was a very good hotel. The baby pool was perfect for my 2 year old granddaughter. The pools were both heated, which was great! The breakfast was good. Staff from the front desk to the guy in the breakfast room, to the guys cleaning all of the time were very, very kind and friendly!! Will stay again for sure!
