Very comfortable bed. Only warm shower

Very friendly staff. The bed and pillow were wonderful. I found the shower medium warm each time. I evenntried running the water for a while, still only got to warm. The hotel was under construction but doing their best to accomodate guest needs, including my using the hot tub at yhe neighboring hotel. Still... i wish id been forwarned as i may have stayed else where due to that.

Great location for Mayo Clinic

Due to the older rooms, it smelled of moth balls throughout the 6th floor. It wasn’t a pleasant smell. They are in the process of renovating so I’m sure it will be nice soon.

Room was in terrible condition. Dirty windows, no microwave,broken toliet seat, no hot water, WiFi was terrible, parking was around from the hotel and 16.00 per day. The gym was so hot you couldn’t work out. I left a message for the front desk for a 7am wake up call and they never called. Worst stay ever!!

We are "Marriott" people and were thankful to have this property so convenient as we navigated multiple appointments at Mayo. It was clean, staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful as is always the case with a Mayo property. Unfortunately, the front desk staff was extremely short staff and while the clerk was gracious to help, there were extended wait times. We stayed on the concierge level and were disappointed by the styrofoam plates, plastic silverware & plastic cups for the reception time. Food was great, morning host was awesome, but it just fell short of my expectations for a Marriott.

It is with great regret and even a huge degree of disappointment that I must report that this Msrriot Hotel that I have had so many pleasurable visits to over the many years I have been visiting the Mayo has declined to the point that I cannot continue to patronize the Hotel. The facility condition has deteriorated to the point where cleanliness is an issue, mold on the shower curtain, worn and stained towels, carpets that are so worn and soiled that they demand being careful where you walk in your room and a staff that is trying but obviously without the support of the franchise owner. I must mention the 8th floor executive suite facility. The food offered wouldn’t compare quality wise to that found in a soup kitchen and is obviously financially operating as if there is a money problem even though as a guest you pay premium Marriott rates. Do I need to express more disappointment about a formerly great facility that has declined to the point that it is now a stain on the great Marriott hotel chain name?

I was unaware the property was going to be under renovations ( which were much needed) and we were thrilled to be on one of the newly renovated rooms…but the cleaning staff was lacking. There was sticky stuff from someone’s food on the night table next to my side of the bed…and the towels were dirty. This was very disappointing.
