This is a run down hotel where the rooms are so dirty and felt uncomfortable with the bed and sheets were dirty. No proper towels and amenities. Pictures listed are deceiving.

My room as well as the linens smelled horrible of smoke. My clothes came home smelling like it and I had to wash everything when I got home. The body wash in the shower empty and the shampoo/ conditioner was low. But the bed was very comfortable and the staff was nice. This was okay for a one night if the room didn't smell so bad.

Disgusting

This was the worse place I’ve ever stayed in. The sheets and comforters are permanently stained. The rooms have mold and smell like years worth of cigarette smoke. If you’re a prostitute or druggy, then you’ll like this place. Great location. But now I’m sick thanks to the mold and dirtiness.

A week before this, I stayed in a Red Roof Inn at Herkimer about 2 1/2 hours away and what a difference. In Herkimer they offered breakfast each morning, they had an ice machine that worked great, an operating laundromat and a small gym. The room I got was big and really nice, very clean and smelled good. Upon my arrival at the Henrietta location I asked about these amenities and they had none of these things except for an ice machine that didn’t work more than half of the time staying there. I had to change my room twice. The first room wreaked of cigarettes and dogs as the people next door were living there with their dogs and smoked cigarettes all throughout the night. When asking to change my room the desk attendant gave me a room that was even smaller than the room I reserved which was a deluxe room with a king bed. I had to go back and change my room again. The rooms are fairly clean. They don’t look like the pictures online. I picked this Red Roof Inn, because it was fairly priced and when looking at the pictures I thought what a good deal. But when you get a room here for the price you pay, once you get there you’ll understand why. My second room was on the second floor and they never cleared the top steps of snow. That’s an accident waiting to happen. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I have to.

Its not a safe place to stay. The washroom had dead bugs. Mattress got brown stains on it. Housefly in the room. Everything was chargeable. Which was so annoying!

The room was dirty and smelled funky. I couldn't place the smell but there were stains on the bedspread, something splattered up two of the walls, a dirty (mold?) shower curtain, a dirty window shade, and while the towels had been cleaned there was a bunch of hair and other debris stuck in the towel fibers. At least the bed was comfortable, the AC worked and the staff was friendly.

I've stayed in multiple red roof inns before and never had a problem, but this was one was dirty, had a strange smell, and was overall not worth my money. We learned on check in that it was an "independently run" red roof so I assume that is to blame for the difference between other RRI's I have stayed in in the past. If we were staying for any longer than one night, I would have asked for a refund and found somewhere else to stay. but for one night, the beds were decently comfortable and we only needed a place to sleep during our pitstop.

You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. Old motel turned Red Roof Inn. Decent location, good price. Bedspread was visibly stained, sink cracked. Noticeable water damge/mold on ceiling. Bathtub needed a good scrubbing. Not unsatisfactory, but also not great.

Always a good experience

Spent the day at local diners and Dave & Busters, didn’t actually check in until 1AM. Check in was super easy, he gave me my key and made sure to get clear and simple instructions on getting to my room, to be sure I wasn’t outside wandering at night in the cold alone (my fiancé was in the car so I did look alone). The room smelled weird, but was warm and had clean sheets so that’s all that really mattered. There was a a paper towel in the peep hole, which made it feel sketchy but that’s fine. The shower had good enough water pressure to knock over the elderly (in a good way). Only 2 towels so we had to share. We probably could have gotten more from room service but we didn’t ask. When I checked out, they were still polite and was a stress free birthday to trip. We always use red roof. Photo of the D&B haul attached :)
