Our room was nice and it was clean and tidy inside. Worked great for the price! This is a classic motel especially the original building so if you're a grown up an can live with that it seemed fine. Furniture was modern, DirectTV worked. I could hook my laptop up to the tv easy and the desk staff was friendly. Value was good and bed was comfortable and clean.

Stayed here a year ago and seemed fine. This time...... room smelled, not clean, door was obviously been kicked in and shabily repaired to the point it barely even closed, mold in bathroom. Was told the room i was supposed to stay in had a problem, was the same room i stayed in a year before that was good, as i was leaving cause we wouldnt stay there soemone was moving into the rom that was supposed to be ours

Left the property after checking in and found a different one. Didn't even bother to get a refund. The lock on the door was broken and did not feel safe. Front desk woman was very friendly.

This property was not NOT as advertised! The room Cleaners NEVER came in for the entire 8 days Overpriced No iron or iron board available the entire time Had to call for the Cleaners to get trash and provide new trash bags The bathroom is in disrepair The room had a stale stinky smell We had to call for towela after 3 days since no room cleaning was done There is. No accessiblitybfor ADA to the second floor.

The “one” staff member was so friendly and kind. See was clearly busy but took time to answer our questions. While some what vintage our room was exceptionally clean and fresh smelling. I’m a hotel snob and I approve this motel and would stay again!

Great for the money

The price was right. It was comfortable and could be said charming. The bathtub needed to be totally replaced however but that was pretty much all the criticism I could make of it. It had a microwave, a refrigerator and coffee. What more could you asked for?

If they would spend a couple of dollars this place would be ok to stay in. We had a broken window which had plastic taped over it. 1/2 a roll of toilet paper for 2 people. Traffic noise is loud. Easy to find and a lot of stores & restaurants near.

Motel age was showing. Drunk persons on catwalk when we arrived for 20 minutes, but no issues after this. Door dead bolt broken not functioning, door chain busted off and missing. Silverware in drawer was nasty...anddid not use. Bed was comfortable!

Located near the downtown area away from the interstate but on the main road through town. Building is older/dated but beds were very comfortable. Our room was missing the hair dryer from the holder and the attic cover didn’t cover the entire opening but the room was very spacious. When the wall AC unit wasn’t running, you could hear the noise from outside so needed to switch the fan mode from Eco to run all the time. For the total cost of $55, it was still a great value. I would stay here again.

The images of the rooms online looked nothing like the room we stayed in. It’s dated and needs a remodel. Room had a smoke smell like it was a smoking room in the past. The bathroom was not so pleasant. The tub and tile had been painted years ago and it’s all coming off.

I know that many people read these reviews looking for triggers that might make them decide whether to choose a motel or not. And I think many reviewers tend to needlessly nitpick little details that make a motel room less than a perfect experience. There are such details at the Country West Motel, but I can nevertheless tell you that I slept great here, everything worked that needed to work and the people were friendly and down-to-earth. For the relatively low price, it was safe and it was clean. That's really mostly what most people looking in the lower price range are concerned about anyway, right?

We have no problem staying in older facilities however, it was filthy someone’s sock by bed, old brush under bed. Shaved whiskers in sink and toilet. Huge stains on carpet and no bolt lock on door you had to trust key card knob worked. Tried to tell front desk no one was there in am not answering phone.

The room in the pictures on Expedia look nothing like the real room did...the real room was old and dirty, do NOT stay here, it is so old and disgusting! I would guess they remodeled one room for pictures and the rest of the motel has not been touched. Plus the water pressure was non existent and the hot water was scalding.

This is a cute little motel with charm, but the area is not great, the housekeeping staff even though we had the dead bolt locked and yelled we were in there still proceeded to open the door! Sorry but if you don’t give guests a do not disturb sign, I think you should take the hint that someone doesn’t want to be bothered if the dead bolt is locked! Other then that for the price it was a fine place to sleep for the night, wouldn’t be my choice for anything more then just an over nighter

As soon as I walked in to my room, it felt very cozy and warm. The floor was really cold though but I had a pair of slides on so I could walk comfortably in my room. The shower& sink water gets really hot, so that’s good. The AC/heater unit works well too, and it’s adjustable, it’s just very noisy when it’s on. There’s a big TV in the room but I didn’t use it coz I was so sleepy. I didn’t really get to see it since I got there super late in the dark & I was super tired, but there’s a HUGE mountain/rock behind the property! I thought that was really cool, I didn’t realize it till the morning I left. But this area is naturally beautiful!

When I walked up to the door to my room, which is an outside entry, the long and wide concrete step, on both front corners were completely broken off and not even cleaned up. The second step that I took when I went into the room, felt as though it had sand or dirt on the floor. No carpeting in the unit. With every step that I took it felt the same. They were sand all over the floor in the entire room and bathroom. There's a small window in the bathroom that does not lock. Instead of fixing it they took a piece of wood and put it in the bottom of the track so the window would not be able to be opened hopefully by someone on the outside. The right side piece of glass is obscured, the left piece of glass is just plain glazed see through glass. Very disappointing hotel stay. I will not stay at that hotel again. Just goes to show you get what you pay for.
